En la oración 10, no debería ser "their"? Ya que estamos hablando de George y Mike (They) y el "su" de ellos es "their"

Hi Pacho nice greeting you, I'm not trying to find fault with anything but I'm gonna state my point of view I was watching this video lesson and I consider that in sentence 4 and 5 there's contradiction in the way you solved them and there is no " subject and verb agreement ". The way I see it, the structure should be like this if you wanna express the singular form " ten miles is a far distance for me to walk " but if you wanna express the plural form, it goes like this " ten miles are too far for me to walk " because we're talking about ten miles and that's plural and as to sentences 16 17 and 18, my point of view is this and the structure should be 16 " mondays or fridays are the same for me " 17 " mondays or fridays are the same for me " 18 " three quarters of a potatoe are water " because we're talking about three and that's plural, if we talked about one quarter then It would be singular and we would have to use " is". Pancho you said that the last subject is the one that determines the form of the verb (sentences 16 and 17 ) I would like to know where I can find that rule.well Pancho like I said before It's not that I'm criticizing It's just that I don't see or I can't find any " subject verb agreement in those sentences, the rest of the sentences are fine to me even though I've got my doubts in senteces 2 and 3 but I can be wrong and I hope you clear it up for me please bye.
