Amazing and inspiring video! Makes me wish I had the expertise to do hardware DIY projects like this. For the iPad mini, did you consider using a Lightning to USB 3 adapter along with a USB-to-Ethernet adapter so you can hardwire into your router? Wi-Fi should work fine with MixEffect, but Ethernet should be even more reliable.

I assume the switches are just in the power lines to temporarily cut power on the circuits. would that be correct.
I am building two of these I like your design.
Curious which TV you used. Thoughts on a USB keystone for the USB on the Mini.
