I found this song at the best time I could have. The person I love most was dealing with lots of really dangerous thoughts. Thinking that if she couldnt be exactly like others then she shouldnt be alive. She thought she was the only broken person in this world. I found this song and sent it to her and she realized all humans are broken and not the same. Its just how people work. I have learned this song and many other shinedown songs to play to her when she needs it.

Shinedown is extremely underrated

We’re not all just passing through we have a purpose we chose to be here. We chose who our family’s would be to help us wake up and spread the message about the earth mother Gaia needs help. The government we once knew has been invaded for a very very long time since the first ufo movies that was the first part the government gave us up for knowledge and power and it’s been that way since so what ever you are doing right now I just ask that you remember who you truly are how spiritual we truly are no I may get killed for saying all of this but my soul will go elsewhere I’ll make sure it doesn’t get trapped in the cycle. Anyway I deeply love every single one of you if any of the resonated with you the share what you feel is true. Remember knowing yourself is the most truest power you could want.

I am 69 years old.. I love music, all kinds (well a lil iffy on some rap and really don't like expressed unnecessary profanity). All these years I have stayed current, listening to the music of each generation. A lot of my friends have not. They have their fav type of music and pretty much stay with it, never venturing out into the unknown. Throughout the years there has been some incredible artists and incredible songs released. Shinedown.. what can I say? The first time I heard them I was hooked, but this song I think is one of their very best. I agree that it should be out there for everyone to hear and the video watched. They just released another amazing song "Daylight". These songs resonate a message to everyone, not just those who may be suffering. They get you and you feel them! THESE GUYS DESERVE SPECIAL RECOGNITION for their ability to touch souls with their music and lyrics.
