I had a 3.2 in an Audi A6. While it wasn't a race car it sure had better times than this TT. Also, the TTRS is quick and great looking but not for 87,000 pounds.

From 29k to 88k for top spec in a little over 20 years, when wages for most have only crept up to double or so. And who in gods name is paying 90k for a TT? WAG's maybe? OnlyFans tramps?😢

Of course the automatic is going to win. I personally respect the manual, no matter what car it is over any automatic.

The mk1 is a design masterpiece. Instant classic for history books.

I have a mk2 TT with the 3.2 and manual. It has no problem reaching 100mph+

It was good to see the different generations, I have a MK2/8j TTS Roadster with a stage 1 and it is fun...

Audi needs more love than it recieves.

I wish they'd included a mk2 2.0 tsfi and V6 as those are more of a fair comparison for the MK1s

The design of the first generation of the Audi TT was ahead of its time.

That 3.2 for sure is not good condition maybe 230km290nm and stock gets 6.3s 100kmh compared to 5.9s for 1.8t.
That quattro sport its weight 1417kg but I dont think so because mine quattro 180km weight 1400kg and that quattro sport is 75kg lighter

Sadly the Audi TT mk1 was slow for it's day then, as it is now, and I've never had any respect for the Audi TT. It's essentially just a VW beetle with AWD. Nothing special, and ugly in my eyes. The TT RS should've have been called the RS TT, which would emphasize that it's an RS car, like the RS3. Oh well.

I have a mk2 rs. Matt did incredible to get off the line the way he did in the drag race. Clutches are built with chocolate. Also sychros are bad making 2nd to 3rd a bit of a slow gear change. Almost like you have to wait for eveything to catch up. But manual 5 pot with timeless design. Over 400bhp on a stage1. What more could you want???
