After I rub off the dust from the camera body and lens (not the glass), I rub them with silicon gun cloth.
ОтветитьThanks Paul, more great tips, I have learned so much from you. You provide a wealth of information to us hobby photographers.
ОтветитьVery very useful!! Thanks a lot
ОтветитьThanks Paul, very informative
ОтветитьThank you for your tips. Very useful, as the rest of your videos
ОтветитьVery useful and creative ways of caring lens and camera gears.
ОтветитьMy new Nikon at 70 to300 mm was new refurbished I noticed that few days after I got it I saw couple of specks. Of dust they is still the I haven’t been able to clean them I don’t think it has bothered the pictures. What should I do.
ОтветитьGood morning Paul thanks you one thing I noticed tha this new lenses get dust inside very easily . What to do about it
ОтветитьG'day from Sydney, thank you for this video, it's time to give my XT4 a little love. New sub here too
ОтветитьIm an expert in lens cleaning , i will give you advice that will save you time , save you money , save you camera bag space , and save you from scratching you lens with dirty cloth , because even if you think its clean , cloth if used and stored has sand in it , and its a soft sand paper . Now to the advice .
Do you know what is the most expensive optics made by man ?
Its a telescope mirror , it sometimes goes to space !
Do you know how they test this Millions of dollars worth of lens ? They use a sticky tape , normal kind . It is happy to stick anything to it , and does not leave residue . You are not brushing it across your lens so you wont scratch anything even if you have sand on your glass . And it cleans human fingerprints and oil , basically things you cant blow off , like a boss . Just try it .
Take a piece of sticky tape , stick it to your lens , real good ... Then peal off .. yes clean like it came from the factory . If not , well you have a lot of sticky tape left right ?
So have at it . You wont damage your lens with it , not possible . Even if you have dirty hands with sand on them .
Your welcome .
Putting a $10 piece of polarizer in front of a $2000 camera lens is simply dumb.
If you are doing that, stop. You can't scratch glass, unless you try to, very, very hard... and every polarizer effect can easily be 100% created in post.
I see white sunscreen is on the grip.
ОтветитьGood, solid advice. Thank you.
ОтветитьHow do you clean a camera body itself after going to the beach and you have salt spray on it?
ОтветитьGreat advice!
ОтветитьYou asked “When was the last time I cleaned my camera bag?- Probably never.”😂😂😂😂
I’m offended bc you didn’t give us a chance to say!😂😂😂
could the dehumidifier tub or whatever that is just be pulling in a large portion of what you’re sending out with that diffuser on top of the shelf?
ОтветитьSubscribed and started watching. Lots of great videos and great tips.
One thing I would like to know - filters. I assume they are specific to the lens?
Thank you for the vids...excellent stuff and I was taking photos of the moon tonight after watching your video on it.
When you clean your camera bag periodically you should wipe it down Is with a wet cloth to neutralize the dust
Ответитьwhat is the liquid did you spray on the cloth?
ОтветитьHi. Could you make a movie how to replace the focusing screen in the Canon 2000D camera? or how can I clean it?
ОтветитьI knew you'd have the answers I was looking for! Thanks, Paul for this excellent video.
ОтветитьVery useful practical tips.thanks
ОтветитьThis is a masterclass
Ответитьgood video :)
ОтветитьI have ordered a canon 2000d and im currently waiting trying to gather as much knowledge as possivle so i know how to use the camera when it arrives and id say im pretty well on the way. Thanks for making your videos clear and easy to understand.
ОтветитьI have a Lumix G1 which has been in storage for some years. I recently pulled it out of its case to find tht the body of the camera is covered in a gluey substance which will come off it gently eased with a thumbnail nd is like little balls of glue or chewing gum in texture. I can't get it off completely and wonder if you can suggest how I can clean it. Rubbing alchohol? Don't want to cause further damage.🙄
ОтветитьGreat vid.
ОтветитьI get spots on my photos like you mentioned. You didn’t elaborate any further. How do I get rid of these spots? Thanks. Love your videos.
ОтветитьVery nice pencil holder
ОтветитьOne of the most useful videos I've ever seen Paul, Thanks very much. The "marigolds" tip has just saved me from a stuck circular polariser filter ( as you'll know the front part is meant to rotate, so it was quite difficult to get a grip ... as it is in life more generally! )
ОтветитьShould I use compressed gas duster to remove dust and lint remover from camera?
ОтветитьNice1 m8.
ОтветитьI actually use a compressor with a nozzle to clean my gear and to clean the sensor as well. The high pressure air should be enough to remove any dust and dirt.
ОтветитьI have been looking for this type of information since I started taking photos. Thank you. Lots of good information.
ОтветитьNice and useful videos.
The Star Wars helmet is terrific!
Nice video I just got a canon t6 and I keel it very clean. whag is the best lins for my canon i herd is the 50 mm to use need help and tnks for the video
ОтветитьThis has been a really helpful video, thank you so much for sharing.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing the cleaning tips. Have you ever used cans of compressed air for cleaning your camera gear? Dust Off is the brand that I have.
Ответитьdo you have any video on solar eclispes?
ОтветитьExcellent information! Thank you.
ОтветитьIt would be nice if he mentioned dirt and tiny hair particles thru the viewfinder that won't clean off no matter what. Now I know they're inside the pentaprism (Nikon D3300) as I can see them with a flashlight (torch). I believe I may have caused this situation myself by using compressed air can (tin) to blow out the interior of the camera. It looks like I'll have to send it to Nikon to get it disassembled and cleaned. Boo hoo.
ОтветитьReally helpful video thank you
ОтветитьWhat is the best way to clean the sensor of canon eos 2000d..dry or wet clean ? any advice will be a helpful
ОтветитьThanks for the video Paul can you recommend a good place to get my canon camera sensor cleaned and probably serviced in Brisbane
ОтветитьThank you! I am new to cameras, but definitely learned alot today.
ОтветитьWhat should I do about two pieces of dirt inside of a lens? It isn't the lens that comes with the camera (Tamron brand). Should I take it and the camera to a repair shop? I am a beginner and am afraid to clean anything myself yet
