Corrections:
So I say China has access to ONLY rice farms and I meant OVERWHELMINGLY rice farms. (A bit ironic a mistake considering I wrote multiple essays citing a study the cultural differences between rice and wheat producing cultures in China. TLDR the wheat ancestry Chinese are much more individualistic and rice ancestry much more communal. This is because a lot more group effort is required for rice. This difference is further extrapolated to explain east (primarily rice) vs west (primarily wheat) cultural differences (with the orignal study comparing two Chinese cultures w/ diff agricultures to control for other non agrarian cultural differences).)

I personaly dislike to start as Great Powers at PDX games, as there is often too much happens around and there not enought attention to do everything. Fo me perfect country to start is Japan. You have no natural enemy, you have closed economy, you have all time in the world to understand whats going on, and also you have access to most of early/mid game resources.

Empty arable land gives a substancial bonus to natural pop growth.

It would be really great if you also make a some kind of video tutorial on strategy of maximizing pop growth! As new player, I have struggle, when I build fast and there is lack of workforce. I already know that pop growth largely provided by medical institutions, and pop's standard of living. Particularily is unlear on how to increase SoL of poor pops, as they are the biggest part of all population. I gave them all things they needed in abundance - grain, clothing, furniture, wood, etc. And they still are unhappy with SoL of 10.

It would be very interesting to see agrarian run and not pursuing meta.

What is the problem with creators and countries outside the Europe-USA axis? I had to go into the files, in "game\map_data\state_regions" to make corrections; They filled the USA with "traits", put tiny states with the same capacity to produce iron as half of Brazil or Australia; This is absurd.

I love it in paradox games when I think about what I do before unpausing for 15 minutes, then frick it up, restart and have to do everything again :D

I just did a ottoman campaign myself. All I did was at the start puppet Persia and Afghanistan before the war with Egypt. After the war with Egypt you take everything down to the Sinai. And work on tanzemat reforms. Ottomans was really fun for a somewhat newer player.

One thing you could have covered before starting the game is the relative advantages/disadvantages for the starting provinces, as this can show natural throughput advantages of the different nations (For example the UK has some provinces with higher throughput bonuses for coal which is useful for industrialisation, whether a lot of South American has construction debuffs from the Amazon and the Andes.
Secondly, you said that having slavery is bad (Yes slavery bad IRL). But could there be some countries with low populations that could benefit early game from basically getting extra migration with a 50% work ratio through Slave Trade, and empower the Landowners while they are still Market Liberals (Corn Laws)?

First time playing Qing I defeated and enforced on Great Britain in the first 5 years.
Don't know if I'll be able to do that again but it was an interesting start.

They should really do something about assimilation, if you try role playing an authoritarian country you’ll run out of qualified pops quickly and they will never be accepted,
