I really like this scene except for the last part where Ultron tried to attack Vision. I think the whole scene would have been much better without the last part and we just see the explosion

Writing like this only at Marvel. No DC movie has deep dialogue like this. 2 robots pausing their death match to have an existential conversation about humans. Ending with a perfect dad joke

Pretty poetic. Ultron's first physical body is a tattered body and his last is also tattered.

Even though Age Of Ultron is like everyone's least favorite Avengers film, you cannot deny that this film was the most beautifully shot, the action was a massive improvement from The Avengers and the VFX were on point. Just wished Ultron had more scenes and a better reason for his actions. We don't need to sympathize, just need a better understanding for Ultron's motivations. The characters were okay, except for Black Widow being a forced love interest for Bruce. They should have hinted at it in The Avengers, slowly built it up in Age Of Ultron and then showcase their romance in Infinity War, where Natasha is missing Bruce after Age Of Ultron, when Bruce was on Sakaar with Thor. If they slowly built up the romance in a natural way then the romance would have actually been cool and interesting.

What happened to THIS MARVEL? Zemo Cold War??? Why such a drop there is literally no excuse

This scene alone shows AoU could've been the best Avengers movie if they took it more seriously and got rid of the stupid jokes.

This is by far the most profound Marvel film.

The IQ of Vision during a simple conversation is off the charts.

Vision is the most loving & calm individual to be in the MCU. He always builds rapport with friends and enemy alike. He thinks more creatively than Tony, cares more than Captain America (shows in his battle speech) and is more powerful than thor if came down to it. Incredibly humble like Hawkeye.

I always find it strange when characters like Vision have such wise and deep thoughts about humanity because at the end of the day, a human wrote those words and why can't more people see that we are amazing things.

Imagine having being instantly born for only one purpose and realizing that the purpose is not only impossible, but stupid and selfish, and then die being killed by your opposite and replacement...Thats Ultron

When they give two underrated actors who are massively talented the opportunity to flex their acting muscle, they knock it into orbit! What amazes me is that this scene is under 3 minutes, yet that was all the time they needed to drive the narrative home. Ultrons attempt to create the perfect version, or Vision, (😂) of himself backfired due to the human nature and grief of loss he encountered in his mind. Yes, the human race is severely flawed but deliberate execution of innocent life regardless of its cause is unexpectable. Vision knew this upon his "birth", and swore to prevent that execution. This sceme caotures that motive simply and brilliantly. 👏👏👏

This is some of the best dialogue written in an MCU movie ever. Like every sentenced has a deep meaning and even the joke at the end was appropriate....

What I love about this scene is that it’s not trying to be “deep” for the sake of it. And I mean it doesn’t feel like a high schooler wrote it. I’m saying it’s a mature conversation with basically two AIs struggling to understand humanity.

This is possibly the shortest conversation in the MCU that’s arguably written better than any conversation between an antagonist and protagonist.

Also it comes with a great twist: Ultron himself fears death. Despite his goal to wipe out humanity — he fears an end as much as they do and reaches that doomsday faster than humanity.

Vision trying to understand more than engage in hate also really helps draw out the real Ultron who is ultimately desperate to live.

Vision....the most compassionate....yet logical...

Just saying… Marvel “killed” Ultron off screen.

Ultron: “You’re incredibly naive…”
Vision: “I was born yesterday.”
Me: I was born today…as there is no yesterday and always an eternal NOW

You gotta rate the balls on Ultron, jumping at Vision like that even when he is so spectacularly outmatched.
