Had a chat with ChatGPT I know America could blow up all semiconductors in Taiwan if China invade and try to take them what would you invest in if this happens or if China gains control of the semiconductors?

What country are synopsis and cadence companies based that make semiconductors chips

I'm sorry, but I don't have access to real-time information about all semiconductor companies in the world, as my training only goes up to 2021. However, Synopsis and Cadence are both major semiconductor design software companies based in the United States, with Synopsis headquartered in Mountain View, California and Cadence headquartered in San Jose, California. It's worth noting that while these companies provide software tools for semiconductor design, they do not manufacture physical semiconductor chips themselves.

Do they rely on any equipment from Taiwan

It's possible that Synopsis and Cadence use equipment from Taiwan for some aspects of their operations, as Taiwan is home to many companies that produce semiconductor manufacturing equipment. However, as software companies, Synopsis and Cadence do not manufacture physical semiconductor chips themselves and are not involved in the equipment used for semiconductor fabrication. Their products are used in the design and verification of semiconductor chips, which may be manufactured using equipment from a variety of suppliers worldwide.

@zisterfitness2697 It's a great company, and responsible for so much of the mobile tech we rely on every day. I certainly don't want to detract from ARM! I think it could be a great long-term holding.

great video man as all your videos. These two are traded in very high multiples but honestly you made a good case for it. Seems like their business is secure to a "large enough" degree. Hey, looking forward to that other video of you giving your thoughts on how to construct a semi-conductor portfolio. (mentioned it in a comment to one of your recent videos and you replied it was a good idea). Take care man. Love your channel and analysis !

The semiconductor stocks to profit chart is very useful, I printed it. I own a lot of chip stocks but have not put the puzzle together yet. I'd like to be a day trader but instead seem to be more of an investor. A good growth story and reliable earnings are irresistible. The market is knocking it's head on resistance, earnings are depressed and dome is the story of the day. Facts and future earnings are reassuring. Thank you for not eating, drinking or jumping around. Your face is 26" long on a OLED 77" TV. Your videos are pleasant to watch. I appreciate how much time the videos take to produce.

The concern that I have is they already have the major foundries and designers as customers. Growth could come from the IP side of the business, but in the software side, it depends on their pricing structure. If it's a pay-as-you-go model I could see decent 8% growth as they add new modules that their custumers use. If it's a flat fee/tierd pricing, I model 5-6% growth. I like these businesses, they are the Visa and Mastercard of the space.
