Maybe the doctor had a soft spot for the baby? Maybe he had a traumatic event himself and upon seeing the baby his heart softened? And now he’s so attached to the baby… or maybe the father put some sort of magic on the doctor so he could hold his baby? Or the father just dressed as the doctor so he could hold his baby?

So I am guessing the Mother who took the form of the doctor or possibly controlled him through possession wanted to at least hold her baby for possibly the first and then last time as she will sadly not be there for her Baby when it grows up. Which is very sad. I thought at first something bad was going to happen to the Baby at first but no. The story was kinda more sad then scary.

This kind of story always hits me hard. I never knew how painful separation is until i became a Mom and had to leave my baby far to earn a living. No amount of phone calls and videos can replace d warm presence of my baby and can assure me her safety. Life can sometimes be really hard. I pray always that my baby is safe even if she no longer minds me.
