A new, remastered recording of one of Team 17's earliest games - check the video description for more info and full set of time codes!
ОтветитьMan I remember playing this because I loved martial arts but there wasn't much choice out there when I bought my amiga. I think Budokan was more realistic though quite hard and IK+ was heaps of fun. Had to wait a long time for Street Fighter 2 but it wasn't a great port.
Things I notice is how lazy the character design is. Basically modify the player sprite with a ponytail, more fat, a black costume etc. And what the hell with that dog intro screen; it's almost exactly a clone of Warner Bros's Spike the bulldog.
Amiga Sound is Masterpiece 👌
ОтветитьThe intro was amazing, one the best things on Amiga. Too bad the game sucked so badly.
ОтветитьThe dog is the hardest fight
Ответитьammmmmmmmmmmmmmmiiiiiiiiiiiiga
ОтветитьHas this game me and my friend used to think the main character was Leslie neilson, 😂
ОтветитьI think that I enjoyed more often that title sequence, with the JCVD animation, than the game itself hahaha
ОтветитьSomeone needs to rip the sprites from that game
ОтветитьHow about international karate amiga 4k LOL
ОтветитьThe music is awesome, but that's a given, it's Allister Brimble.
Ответитьthat ending screen was hilarious
ОтветитьW tam tym czasie wolałem Mortal Kombat i Street Fighter ;)
ОтветитьUsed to have this back in the day. That spinning log thing you had to jump and duck used to send me crazy.
ОтветитьLook at the final image there. The poor man, his neck and shoulder are fused into each other and he appears to be missing his right shoulder.
ОтветитьGeez... Almost 30 years ago... Nice memories...
By the way... The man in the intro is Jean Claude Van Damme (Kickboxer)
Similar to Yie R Kung fu in some way
ОтветитьTeam 17 worst game
ОтветитьAwesome game. Love it. Thanks for sharing . This intro and song was so cool. I had my Amiga connected to my stereo back then was Soo cool. Good times ,I remember to play this game.
ОтветитьThat poor dog.
Ответитьoh fuck, the memories. i didn't like this game at all, but i always had a copy of it on my A500 because my father was absolutely addicted. and everytime he visited, his second thing to say always was "let me play some full contact". it seemed so strange to me back then, 1992 i was 10yo, seing a 30+ guy with a career, and a suit to match, getting actually into the game. leaning left and right as he was beaten up, rarely progressing beyond the first opponent. i miss my amiga days.
