ОтветитьCar looks amazing now. A friend got a new Torino in 1971. Red w/ black vynal roof. This car looks orange to me. I do like the color . My 2017 SantaFe Sport is canyon copper. I love the color.
Ответить351 C.I.
Ответитьlove that year of Torino and the notchback is my fav, i do in fact own the notch version of the one Eastwood used in the movie but i have had mine way before the movie and yes mine is green with the same gold trim, fully restored now and was my dads..
ОтветитьStarsky and Hutch comes to mind.
ОтветитьYou guys coulda done a little more to the rockers and lower fenders doesn’t look like ya touched it with polish
ОтветитьThe engine looks like a 351 Windsor.
ОтветитьShould have pulled it out, and taken it straight to the scrap yard
Ответитьive got a 4 door 72 skylark that im in the process of restoring. it runs and drives good which is great.
ОтветитьOmg it is really fantastic ❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Ответитьcompletely waist my time,a carwash guy do job better than u ,u suck
ОтветитьColor is called 2B red I know cause I have the fastback version of this model neat facts on the inside of one of the fenders looks like someone from the factory wrote 2B in yellow crayon and under the original hood to looks like a 2 barrel winsor most H codes in 72 were 2 barrel Cleveland’s C6 cars this might have a C4 instead
ОтветитьEither a 302 or 351 windsor?
ОтветитьI had a nineteen seventy-two grand torino sport Gold with a brown vinyl talk and brown interior automatic on the floor it is 351. Cleveland even was one cylinder broke or frozen. That thing would still get up and fly. I bet you that 1's got a 351 or Cleveland. Or a Windsor best car ever had.
ОтветитьPhilippines 🇵🇭 🚔
ОтветитьNice car wash technique. Where is the restoration anyway?
ОтветитьPart 2 ?
ОтветитьProbably a 351 Cleveland. They were a good motor. The 351 Windsor were not.
ОтветитьMy Dad had this exact one when I was in high school.
Ответитьvery poorly restored, shame on you
ОтветитьThe question is, turn it on....?
ОтветитьWhy weren't you able to fix the front seats?
ОтветитьVery good! What brand is the leather conditioner that was used?
ОтветитьThat’s not a small block in the car if anything it’s a 429 big block! It is not a 302 small block and it is definitely not a 351 Cleveland as it’s not the Sport!! The sport came with the 351 Cleveland or Windsor!
ОтветитьThat engine got to be a 302
ОтветитьEmmmm 5/10 still not new i want see her on
ОтветитьRoadrunner Orange; I think?
Ответить351 Cleveland
ОтветитьThat was cool
What about the engine? Did you make it work ?

ОтветитьEngine v10
ОтветитьNow this car is a iconic TV car, wow, Starsky and Hutch.
ОтветитьImpressive work
Ответить351windsor c6 transmission
Ответить2B bright red Torino 72
ОтветитьThat poor old soldier started life with a vinyl top, you can see all the rust holes where moisture got trapped. That color is red, probably like the Starsky &Hutch car. It was a 74 as I recall.
Everyone's taste is different, but I have never cared for the fish-like face of this model. I suppose if a person developed a personal attachment based on memories that would change how you saw it. I know, because my first car was a 1951 bullet nosed Studebaker with suicide doors. I took a lot of ribbing for driving Old Yellar, but I still have a lot of good memories.
