Buy a LG G3 or Samsung S90C instead of this TV. Sony is too proud of their TV's. ONLY 2 HDMI 2.1 ports? Come on Sony. The S90C is the best value out their. Gaming is better than on the S90C than the A95L and after a few very minor adjustments to pic settings you'll be happy you saved $3,000 over the A95L....
Ответить4,000 nits or bust
ОтветитьI have a fairly dark, easy to control light home theater room. Would this look best in my type of room or maybe the song X95L Mini-LED (?), which many say is brighter, tho I’m concerned about the PQ, in that is the Mini-LED As Good as an OLED, or close to it visually? Ty
ОтветитьHey KG ! I got a Big Question from Germany :) how many Nits do you set up in the Xbox Calibration Menu ? 1000 , 1200 or 1600 ?
ОтветитьI luv Sony !!!
ОтветитьYou guys keep researching and questioning which brand of tv is the best of course it's a sony, there's a reason why they are the trusted solution in the industry and regarded as standard in pre-production and post-production. Sony is deeply involved in professional fields of filming, commercial, broadcast, music video etc in the business that pro's rely on daily.
ОтветитьI had the A95K for a few weeks and changed it for the A95L.
In my opinion there is a noticeable difference in picture quality.
Build quality is superior and the stand on a95l feels more stable with much less wobble ,
Better sound quality, thinner chassis and lighter. I think the second generation QD panel is designed to have more longevity and should do better against burn in.
It’s definitely a lot brighter and has a greater depth image and sharpness due to the XR clear processor. So if your in the market for a new tv I wouldn’t always advise to spend extra to get this newer set over the A95K.
Sony tvs are too expensive
ОтветитьI’m watching this video, KG is selling the 95L, thinking about returning my G3 to make it work, THEN as I’m watching a get a notification from Vincent that Sony is possibly abandoning OLED as their Flagship in 2024 🤦🏾♂️. lol
ОтветитьWhat about burn issue for Oled tv’s specially with expensive Tv brand like Sony ?
ОтветитьThanks for all your content, KG. I have the 55" A95L. I have noticed that streaming Dolby Vision from Netflix and Apple TV (for both, I'm using the built-in apps) does NOT trigger the words "Dolby Vision" to appear at the top of the screen. But the 3 Dolby picture modes DO appear as my picture options. Weird. When streaming from the Movies Anywhere app, the "Dolby Vision" words DO appear at the top of the screen. Also, the built-in Apple TV+ app has quite a dark picture, to the point where I have to choose the Dolby Vision Vivid picture mode. Although I do know that people are reporting Dolby Vision issues, I have not seen anyone mention the specific 2 issues I mentioned here (no "Dolby Vision" indicator triggered, and very dark Apple TV). The other issue is that audio/video are out of sync when watching my Blu Ray player (for Blu Rays, DVDs, and 4K discs). I have a new Sony receiver. Adjusting the audio delay on the receiver fixes the problem, but still,. a weird problem to have when I'm using a brand new Sony TV and brand new Sony receiver and brand new Sony Blue ray player.
ОтветитьHappy new year KG! Nice video. May seem like an odd question KG but im tempted to just pull the trigger on this tv...but brightness in sdr which I watch mostly is a factor.
...Would this tv be as bright in sdr as my 10 year old edge lit led? Ps I have an ambient front room.
The most important inTV is the picture quality .... the first channel to say that, congratulations, and thank for this information...
ОтветитьSony is delusional for charging such expensive
ОтветитьHDR is massively better than the A95k.
ОтветитьThe G3 looks black and white in comparison. The Samsung was no difference
Ответить$3.3K yeah right, no thanks!
ОтветитьThis tv really is great. Sony always delivers. One key aspect to know is there is some dimming that occurs with ABL in gaming. Other tv brands give you the option to disable logo dimming which impacts gaming. Sony still has not added this feature. There are several videos online detailing this. Overall tho picture processing is top of the line. Fantastic.
Ответитьsony is king of overpriced tv, not worth it
ОтветитьCertainly not worth the price premium considering Sony will have a new picture processor system for next year. This tv is sitll using the same one from 2021. The Dolby vision issues are real as well for bot the A95L and the X95L. Even if you have too much money to know what to do with, I think this tv is a dumb buy for the price
Ответитьmy LG lost 10months, then they have to change whole panel for new one, and after that, new panel never upscaling again, I return again and LG said: we dont see any issues or trubles sorry! So for me LG dosnt exist anymore 😅 Then I haved Sony UHD LCD and works great with any problems for 5years, Now looking for 77'" And Sony have great picture, if you live day by day with Sony, you probably dont want to change for other brand, but for size 77" a95l is overpriced, So I will go with Samsung s90s, to me its much beter value buy..btw great review 👍
ОтветитьHappy New Year KG😊
ОтветитьThis is so incredibly frustrating that seeing all the great things about this tv made me pull the trigger and return the x93L I had for this…and the menu is laggy and slow. More than the Dolby vision issues, this bother me the most. I have the most up to date software. I think it’s fine in normal viewing but streaming movies makes it laggy. Does anyone else notice this? Also, settings wise I turn off the led indicator but the tv for some reason will always turn it back on after I had turned it on and off with the power button…anyone else experiencing these issues? Everyone seems to only say great things about it but I’m not so sure anymore
ОтветитьGreat video I have a LG C2 and I just got the A95L 65in and I love it
Ответить98' or above only !!
Ответитьwhen is the best time of the year to buy this tv ?
ОтветитьI really want this TV bro. I want to upgrade from my LGC1 55” to the A95L 65” but it is just too ridiculously expensive. The 65” G3 is a $1000 cheaper. Is the 65” Sony a thousand dollars better than the G3????????
ОтветитьSony should be the best for gaming since they make the PlayStation 5… but Sony TVs suck for gaming, they have the highest input lag of them all and not as bright as the rest… so for gaming Sony TVs are a no no
ОтветитьIf you are an enthusiast and want the best, the Sony A95L should be your choice. I'm personally waiting on the price to come down on the A95L. Otherwise, the LG G3 would make most people happy.
ОтветитьSamsung q800c 8k review
ОтветитьIt’s not significant upgrade over s95c or g3 given the price difference. Sony is definitely not the smart choice. Fractional improvement in performance for double the cost doesn’t sound smart at all. What’s even more shady is how x90L with almost Stone Age level dimming zones is claimed to compete with Qn90b or C with significantly better contrast on Samsung. Sony is very anti consumer and will lose ground sooner or later in terms of sales . Nobody stays loyal to certain brand no matter how die hard fan they are .
ОтветитьHave the 65 A95L. Love it. My only issues recently Dolby Vision not working on Paramount Plus or Max. Which is odd. Works great on Disney Plus and Netflix. I stream internally. Makes me think it’s not the TV. If the other 2 apps work.
ОтветитьClassy said that there is a Clear Image Processing Concern. "Dolby vision and Hdr"
ОтветитьThis is true, my c1 looks blurrier compared to my new A80L, and it applies to movies and games too
ОтветитьC3 is overpriced compared to S90c.Lg pricing policy is just so very anti-consumer.
ОтветитьIt’s only low bit content! There is literally nothing else that looks better to me! With my S95C hitting 2000 nits even in Filmmaker I wouldn’t switch it for a free A95L
ОтветитьSony TVs have always been expensive, but Sony considers itself flagship compared to other brands. If a consumer has the disposable income then enjoy the best
ОтветитьA95L might be overpriced, but A80L is much more overpriced with 600 Nits peak brightness.
Sony Oled at midrange is not good enough
Sony's msrp is way overpriced compared to Samsung and LG.
ОтветитьHappy New Year
ОтветитьS95c + 990b soundbar = cinematic q symphony. No need a95l. I am so happy 😊 with my set up
ОтветитьIm building a home theater and I'd love to have this TV as the centerpiece, but 77" inches is the only limiting factor for me...its just too small.
ОтветитьBut Quantum says that C1 is better than A95L😮
ОтветитьDude, I just got this TV yesterday and oh my God it’s beautiful and this is someone who already has the LG G3.Also side note the one knock I will give it is that the Tv system is a little bit clunky and this is after running the update on the TV
ОтветитьSony's pricing policy is just so very anti-consumer, so i can fully resonate with the Negativity people have towards them.
Let's first wait on the S95D and maybe Samsung finally upgraded the Processing, in the meantime the S95C is getting you close enough to the A95L for half (that's ridicolous) the price.
It’s got way too many bugs for the price.
ОтветитьNope
ОтветитьA ridiculous price in the UK ..
