Kinda sounds like mothman except he had red eyes and either predicted the future or caused the things that happened to happen. Btw the book was way better than the movie imo. Movie was still good just different than the book.

My my, well this was a masterpiece worthy of the oldschool SCP wiki, like the 1000-3000 series'. Kudos to the author, and supremely well read as always. The calm, understated tone maintained throughout really made the whole thing extremely eerie. Compliments all around. My only complaint is the super abrupt cliffhanger ending ... Seems like there was a huge missed opportunity there that could have wrapped up the story in any number of excellent ways... Thats a shame, really. But aside from that, great piece.
