Fallout 76 Angry Review

I bought Fallout 76 for $5 during Covid-19 lockdown.... $5. Yeah, I am not making this up. $5. 2020. Yeah. This game was atrocious, though I heard they really fixed things up over time....

Whoa. I found myself re-watching this for the lols and the part with Todd Howard talking about leeching manpower from the other studios they own and mentions Arkane by name. Then fast forward to present day with the knowledge of what Red Fall turned out to be... Another open world first person shooter style online live service style game that turned out to be 1 of the worst releases of the year... MAN... Arkane used to produce masterpieces. Prey is one of my favorite games of all time. Both Dishonored games are amazing. Death Loop was a bit underwhelming admittedly but not bad by any means. Still 100x more creative and unique compared to Red Fall.

As a person who hasn't played 76 or starfield, I'm suprised that microsoft spokesperson still has his job. Alot of his promises for starfield feels the same. Can't trust em as far as you could throw them. Good or bad game they will hype it up.

I hate it when people hype things up and it doesn't live up to it's promised.

Two things can be true. Is everything in this review correct and a viable complaint, yes.
Does Bethesda deserve the backlash they get for this game and their complete mishandling of The Fallout license, yes.

Is Fallout 76 a decent game with a great community in 2023, yes.
I recently returned to this game and am having a blast with it. Its not Fallout New Vegas and what Bethesda has done to the Fallout lore is criminal. However if you want to craft a plasma rifle add some legendary mods and melt some super mutants. Build a Nuka Cola themed disco base and run around dressed as The Silver Shroud, then this game is your thing.

This game, specifically the community is the goofy side of Fallout. Strange illogical bases, bright colored power armor, and nonsensible costumes running around and killing automated werewolves together with super jumping mutations. It makes no sense and sounds dumb, but it kind of works. Shit Fallout 76 is Borderlands, I just realized that as typing this comment.

whenever your camp gets packed up becuase someone else has a base there the most expensive water filtration systems just get deleted and they are hella expensive to replace thats why i stopped playing thats fucking stupid .

they copy pasted trees all over some random generated terrain put some robots and some ugly ass scorched npc everywhere and called it a day

This whole game is the art of bullshitting, "let's just say your the npc,less work for us!"

Any company that shows previews strung up with people just talking of how big the development phase is going are already trying to sell you their product except you’re buying it without any thought put into it and let your emotions get the better of you.

All they had to do is remove the stupid multiplayer

When the 16 times the detail is on repeat, the game clip looks like you playing that shit in the n64 😂 literally mario 64 looks better

I saw the microtransactions come up, and I rushed to turn that volume down lol.

I would honestly say this game earned a 2/10 or less in its state at launch. Joe gave it a high rating lol.
