I’m 27 and getting married in 2 months. I want to thank my younger self for putting in the work for myself. People will tell you to only live in the moment. No, I made sacrifices for my future and it paid off. But I also could have saved myself some heart ache if I just focused on the people that mattered to me and the things I love. There’s no need to be everything at once when you are young. My Dad the Marine lost his oldest son who was less than 40 to cancer. He now has not only his son's, his grandkids who love him, as well as a few great grandchildren. He was my best friend. I love his kids and wife. My Mom died last year of Covid and i'm pretty sure I gave it to her after partying out late at a strip club relapsing on booze. She was my second best friend. My daughter hasn't spoken to me in a year. I'm trying to complete my MSW to do humanitarian work and give more of myself because it's the only way I can make sense of my life. But this music is very healing and I get to hear it now. Thanks. Small moves. And if you don't mind praying for me or if you do, I wish you well and don't take anything for granted. But I hope that 2024 will finally turn my life around, and one day i'll be free from the horrors i'm experiencing in G6. I mean like you wouldn't believe how fucking rude and unfriendly some of the G6 students are like wtf even the lower grade levels were more friendly. 2023 was without a doubt the worst year of my life. But the one thing I had was Spider-Man 2 for PS5. Peters journey in that game, overcoming his darkness and anger and inner pain helped me alot and I hope I can get through my own darkness too

I can just imagine this being Peter's last day as Spider-Man.
He saved people for years now and got millions of adaptations of himself from live action to animated to video games. He started as just a normal teenager and now he's a adult, saving a city.
Now he has Miles Morales as the new Spider-Man, he may be young and may need more practice to control his power. But as Uncle Ben once said to Peter, "With great power, comes great responsibility". Peter finally retired from being Spider-Man, officially throwing away his suit and letting Miles do what he can't anymore. He has a family now and a Wife, He wants to spend time with them more and as his final day as Spider-Man, he sits on a building, staring at the sun....waiting....waiting for the day to finish. As of tomorrow, Peter will finally retire but Spider-Man will live on...

As of writing this, I’m currently reading Jordan Peterson’s book: 12 Rules for Life. I’m not in the best state I could be physically, mentally, nor spiritually, I’ve had a lot of ups and downs through life through my progress and failures, but despite the trenches I’ve been in wether my circumstances has put me in or if I chose to bring myself through any, I’m courageous and hopeful for the future! I am learning every day to trust more in God for what he’s got planned for me. If you are in a state of discouragement yourself, I can not express enough, there is hope, even if it’s not visible. You just got to trust in him because Spider-Man isn’t the only hero.
