I could watch these two as Lillibet and Margaret Rose for hours. And yes, the other 4 women in these roles were also superb.

Two amazing actresses ,love them both,The people who did the casting for The Crown left big shoes to filled for every following series ,I still think they are the top Series on Netflix and other networks for a very long time !

What outstanding acting!

A beautiful moment in the series. I love to see these two women when they have scenes together. Despite the turbulence at times there was at heart a very deep connection that was most meaningful.

"The rest of us drop like flies. But she goes on and on". So very true, Elizabeth 2nd really did go through so much and seemed like she would be around forever. The family seems to be falling apart without her. 😢

So why was Princess Margaret ill? Was it self inflicted?

The emotion in this scene is so perfectly captured and raw. The scene is supposed to evoke the love they shared as sisters and to cause us to imagine the immense loss that QE2 felt when she lost Margaret. Two brilliant actresses.

Such a brilliant scene-- beautifully shot, the design, the script, the ACTING! So moving-- and though about a rarified milieu, the themes of siblinghood and finding meaning in life are universal.

How many does that make it? Prime Ministers?

This scene reminds so much of when I had a miscarriage. My partner had brought me home from the hospital, I got in bed. Then he left to pick up my prescriptions. My sister came over and without saying a word, got into bed with me and just held me while I finally broke down in tears

Margaret/Elizabeth scenes are my favourite. I still think the conversation scene at the end season 6’s Ritz episode was the best. It made me cry.

Helena is such talented actor with great range!

Really, if there was only one thing this series did well (and there were several), it was the relationship between these two. Margaret seems to have been the one person, even over Phillip, with whom Elizabeth could just be a human woman. All six actresses who portrayed these two were magnificent, in every scene they had, but especially when they were together.

This scene took my breath away. Both of these actresses are profoundly talented. They draw me into the world of make believe and make the reality of another’s life story seem as though I’m on the set with them experiencing it firsthand. Outstanding performances.
