congratulations
ОтветитьCarbon isn’t HDX. Been thinking of grabbing a carbon for the streamlined workflow but as an RME UFX III owner a new Mac might be the better call.
Ответитьthe 32bit converters has 126db bandwidth? When did that happen? lol
ОтветитьLooks like a very sweet interface and congrats for the new studio upgrade ! Love to see these Eve as well.
Could you someday talk about the ethernet connexion between interface and computer, like how does this work ? Why this instead of usb c or so ?
Greetings !
So nice how you teach tec. !! thx! & greetings , jon
ОтветитьCongratulations with the new spot! 🎉 💯🔥🐐A RECORDING STUDIO for commercial use that can record at native 32 bit🔥 Absolutely a banger. Beautiful 🤘
ОтветитьI'm an early adopter of Carbon. it's an excellent interface. I'm using a Lynx Hilo for capture, but for hardware inserts, these new Avid A/D D/A are top notch. Congrats on the new studio.
ОтветитьYour eyebrow design along with the hairstyle give you a very aerodynamic look✈
ОтветитьI have HDX and its a game changer for Guitars and Bass. I plug directly into pro tools with my guitar and then put a DSP Amp Insert on the channel and ZERO latency for tracking. It allows me to capture the DI of the guitar and change amps later if needed. I used to capture DI and also play through a modeler or amp because it was the only way because of the insert latency was unacceptable. Many say HDX is dead due to Thunderbolt, Dante and fast computing. But I disagree 100%. The latency round trip on Thunderbolt/CPU thread waits, etc.. are still unacceptable for anyone but a beginner. You guys are off the great start with HDX!
ОтветитьToo bad you can’t stack em.
ОтветитьMeh…get a Burl Dante enabled interface.
ОтветитьHave you considered buy an HDX1 or 2?
ОтветитьI still have a Pro Tools TDM II Accel HD2 here. I never had to worry about latency . With my Native Ultimate System 2023.9 I always change the Buffer Size to 32.
ОтветитьCongrats on the addition!!!
ОтветитьWell, you can also use this interface with any other DAW's becuase the HDX is in the interface not the computer input.
I really want this interface.
I've seen it second hand for around £2000 on reverb many times so I will hopefully have that much top spend on a interface.
The studio will be a multi function studio on the go built into a motorhome.
This will allow me to not hit any limitation walls.
I'll be using a Mac Mini Pro so I'll be able to plug it right into the computer without the thunderbolt converter.
I look forward to seeing more of your new studio!
Ответитьits not RME , but nice though, congrats
ОтветитьLove the studio name and logo!
ОтветитьThis is a weird video. I usually love your vids. Honest, practical and interesting. But I’m not so sure about the Carbon interface. Built in dsp seems like a dinosaur limiting the user to proprietary plug ins. UA pretty much pioneered it and is now moving on in order to stay in business. Don’t all interfaces have extensive routing capabilities? I don’t see anything special about it beyond being a simple plug and play for pro tools. What is the total I/O count including playback outputs ?
Ответить126 db dynamic range is perfect since human hearing can hear 120db dynamic range.
If money was no issue then I would stick with Avid but I need 26 i/o at least to run my setup. Would be a little bit too expensive for me but otherwise I would go for it. Nice pieces of equipment you have there 👌🏼
Wow nice, Congrats .
ОтветитьHDX in the haus!!
ОтветитьPreamps are 126db dynamic range, why record it with 32bit, to have full spectrum of noise?). I got it, 32bit could be nice for field recordings or movie production set.. but what scenario of using 32bit rec with music?
ОтветитьCongrats on the expansion to the new studio🔥
