The RtX 4060 is actually a very cool graphics card. Yes, it's not very cheap, and not as productive as the 3070, but the 4060 has Dlss 3.0, which increases the performance of the video card by about 30%

an RTX 4060 low profile is pretty insane for the size.

According to NVidia in January 2023 , "DLSS 3 is already available in 17 games, with another 33 games and apps on the way soon. And GeForce RTX users can now enable AI-powered performance boosts of DLSS in over 250 released games and creative apps.". So probably more now in October.

As a owner of a EVGA RTX 3070 FTW3 Ultra Gaming ICX3 8GB 256bit, it is a no brainer for me. Much more of a card. Average of 25 to 30% more performance overall. This is why 3070 is just better (a beast of a card) compared to this RTX 4060 (click Read More to expand):

Almost every 4060 has 8gb or 12gb vram with 128-bit bus speed. If you want a better card you should definitely try the COLORFUL GeForce RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6 iGame Ultra W OC LHR PCIE with 8GB Vram and 256-Bit bus speed or the Ti version that gives you +20 fps.

Problem with 4060 is it's price. It performs well for it's power usage. If you remove the 4060 label and have it priced decently, im sure it would have sold well

Interesting to see that you need 100 W more power for 20fps. I don’t understand all these comparisons because I play games like Skyrim or Fallout 4 in 4K with a RTX 2060. Of course they‘re old games but Forza runs very well on 1080p high settings with the old RTX 2060.

As a pc noob getting a new gaming pc - why is the newer 4060 worse than the old 3070 ?
I want to play Cyberpunk 2077 and Starfield with a good fps and setting on 1080p or thinking about 1440p ....
