Tbh i do feel bad for zion and everything obviously there is two sides to every story and obviously they won't be able to say anything the situation is sad but nobody doesnt wanna hold her accountable for the uncomfortable comments she made as well just babying her, i love zion and sayu i rooting for and her future endeavors i hope one day some members in nijisanji can clear this up, she cared about her members till the end ❤ maybe rooting for them behind the scenes

While Sayu's side of the story is far more credible than the PR speakified petty smack talking "story" her former employer gave, it's quite clear Sayu had some faults of her own that contributed to this.

As evidenced by how she is not moving on.
Sayu, you already gave your side and experience, gave important insight as a (former) insider, and redeemed yourself in the court of public opintion.

But holding onto it is just going to cause more pain. Both internally (it's not healthy to obsess over past negative events), and externally. As if you keep bringing it up unpromted, and in victim terms, it will begin to sound more and more petty and attention seeking. (also, burn more bridges than is necessary)

(Though, when a highly relevant topic comes up, she can still give some (NDA complaint) insider perspective that we fans on the outside couldn't have without too much controversy)

Ok just to make sth clear. What Koto said was "I dont think I m in the state to wish her good luck for the future FOR NOW! FOR NOW!" She emphasized the word "for now" because she was getting emotional about it. And also the reason why she couldnt do it? Because she knows when someone is disrespecting her loved ones. Honestly, if it were me, I dont think I would have been able to do that either. At least after going through all this and seeing the genmates apologizing for the whole thing. And I dont think you could actually consider this as backstabbing? Koto is a human too she has feelings too.

I think this is not a wise decision to bad mouth her past companies if you want to grow bigger especially in this type of community. I see how other livers who left ended up growing in their newer company or being an indie liver, they praised their new workplace while not bringing the previous one down. Aside from her beef with the company, some of us already saw her past live stream thirsting over minor boys and a SA victim character in a game. Their past coworker like Kuro, Matara, U-san, strive a good path in their career. Some of other coworkers who had scolded for doing faults and then admitted their fault for making a racist joke, impolite remarks, and oversexualizing contents got accepted again by the community (after being cancelled so much for months) when they implicitly admit their faults, ask public apology, and not denying it, not even deleting the evidence. The company was indeed has bad reputation but she was partially at fault too for her own mistakes.

Sayu didn't deserve the hand she was dealt by Niji and the public backlash that ensued, but honestly I don't think being bitter and bringing up the past is helping her get past this and develop as a streamer. I get that Nina and Mysta parted ways amicably with their company and that's why they were able to bring that good will and support to their new vtuber life, and not everyone is that lucky, but especially as an indie with no platform you'd think she'd focus on creative new content and reminding ppl why she was a successful liver in the first place. (U-san didn't even get a graduation stream, but is still managing as an indie quite well. Mindset is everything)

Numbers, statistics, metrics, I get it. She knows how to analyze em. But if you don't enjoy what you're putting out and are constantly bringing up the past and the ppl you think have done you wrong, guess what? Over time, the sympathy you garner is going to get diminishing returns and ppl are going to wonder if that's all you are, someone living in the past and not capable of growth. Matarakhan was right to leave the rat race bc all that number metric stuff was killing her desire to stream. Kind of seems like Sayu is too focused on the outward measures of success without really appreciating the viewer relationships that success is built on.

I genuinely find Sayu a pitiable person, but my pity doesn't mean I'll support someone I find unenjoyable to watch.

This video is why I just can’t support Niji…and even Vshojo. I don’t want this industry to be run by corporatism where the talents just become an employee concerned with rank and climbing the ladder. When the culture is like that in a company, the social dynamic becomes wolves in sheep’s clothing searching for the first opportunity to throw claw someone up to get a bump up. Holo isn’t perfect, of course I know that…but I ALWAYS see Iofi laughing heartily during her streams. I always see Kronii being sweet and kind to everyone she interacts with one stream. I see the community coming together to celebrate each other’s oshis, and just create beautiful vibes together. I would rather place all my faith in one company that might be failing their talents and community than risk it with a company that time and time again has proven to overlook or even DISCARD their talents like used trans. I honestly pray that someday there will be waves and waves of indie talents able to operate under some sort of label that is owned by Holo. I believe in the truth of Mumei’s new single mumei. Some people want to inspire others to realize the potential of their own lives. That’s what it means to be an idol: to inspire.

I don't doubt that she's probably a decent person most of the time but holy shit she sounds really entitled just from these few minutes in this video, It's possible she was emotional and didn't mean some things but there were so many red flags with the things she said that prove it, the fact that she's mad or disappointed that more of her fans didn't show up for her is head-scratching, she should be glad that she had that many people chatting on her stream, even when she WAS in Nijisanji she wasn't that big so I have no idea what she expected. The bunch of people that would care enought to follow her after is already a very niche group of people, she should be glad she actually has people in chat trying to cheer her up as opposed to other Vtubers who don't have anything for years and would've loved the chance to have gotten her spot on Nijisanji without fucking it up. While i feel bad for Sayu, this downfall was her own. She was a bit entitled and trying to get her way in Nijisanji, the others said they actually tried to help, they Sayu would just argue with them, and then you have the list of offences Sayu did, it showed she was lying to the other livers, so if she felt backstabbed, she needs to understand that she backstabbed them first. She shouldn't name drop Kotoka and Finana, because it makes her look worse, almost like she's trying to stir up sh*t and create drama, like what happend sucks, but you need to forget and move on.

Remember, we don't have the entire story, it's her words vs niji livers and the Anycolor so we don't have all the pieces, but it's hard to trust Sayu's words when she refused to play by the rules and continuously breaked them. I don't think Sayu a bad person, she's just a bit manipulative so she can get her way.

She was always more of an independent vtuber to begin with, so i'm happy she's doing ok while being independent.

I get she was burned badly but she keeps bringing everything up every chance she gets. Not that you should ignore it but it almost feels like it's still yesterday to her, she hasn't moved on from it at all.
She says fuck corpo so now she has to stay indie and with as much as talks about and in detail it makes it even more difficult for a chance for a company to approach her. I mean she has a different name now but she straight out says Nina; she could easily implicate her as having the same line of thought as her on everything and jeopardize stuff for Nina now.

As sad as it is, ultimately, Sayu needs to move past it. The fact she's still bringing it up means that she hasn't made peace with it yet. Mentally, she's still not in a good place, or at the very least, she's certainly not happy. So, she needs to move past it. However, that's easy to say for someone like me, looking in from the outside. For her, the person it actually all happened to, it's much more difficult. Also the fact that she's focusing too much on the numbers and success of others. For example, you can tell that she's both happy for Kuro and Matara's success, but she's also bitter about it, because she didn't have that welcome at all upon her graduation. Yes, the circumstances were different but that certainly doesn't change the effect. As a matter of fact it likely only worked to exacerbate her negative feelings.
Basically, Sayu's still not in a good place mentally, and only she can be the one to improve herself to work out of it, but I also can't blame her for having a hard time with it considering what happened was awful.

If Nijisanji was actually smart and capitalized on a lacking HoloEN last year the landscape could be a lot different today. But all they’ve done is push some to graduation, cancel their concert, cancel Selen’s hopes of hosting events, blatantly take a large portion of profits, and so on. It’s going to be a long and slow process of self destruction, but hey, at least we’ll prolly get 10 new generations by that point that’ll flop! So, we got that to look forward to.
