Wouldn't bipod give it 4 in a mag and like 11 extra

I like reconstruction and bipod. It’s only a 25% damage debuff, but you get nearly double your total rockets. Unless you’re trying to squeeze in as much damage as possible in a really short time on some sweat fest raid where you’re kicked for not using the mEtUh, it’s better for general play and farming.

Blast radius does affect damage, just in a bad way.

Bipod is worth considering. It’s equal total damage to BnS with no set up. And is less punishing for misses. (Not that all bosses can easily be missed) but someone like nezerac or rhulk who is quite mobile you might want to consider it.
However Bait and switch is still very good and usually comes out on top due to the damage coming out faster

Don't bother farming. If u have the o.g version just grab it from collections with Auto loading you'll do fine.

Alloy casing is better than impact because after the initial Recon proc, you're not gonna get it again unless you're taking 300 years to swap out your taps. You will have to reload, and 2.2% extra damage ain't it when the reload is as slow as it is.

Explosive light and bns are pretty much the same. There is no significant damage difference

Impact casing is not worth running, it's only a 2.2% damage increase. Alloy casing gives +30 reload speed, very good to run.

Omfg, I just got my first apex predator 5 min ago, it was my fifth last wish weapon. And what did I get? The god roll even with handling masterwork 🎉

Don't know if I created a good gun but it has incandescent, assassins ambition, well flared mag and I think fluted barrel with handling frame. The weapon is Ammit Ar2

IMO explosive better than bait + switch on this one bc with recon you only get 1 rocket with bait b4 reloading. With enhanced explosive light you get it buffed for the entire reserve + a buff for every rocket on a hot swap. On the GOTD rocket bait is better bc you can shoot up to 4 rockets at once, 5 if your on hunter without reloading getting more bank for your buck with bait + switch

Been using apex with reconstruction, bait and switch. It claps health bars in raids and dungeons.

Ive got an Apex Predator with Quick Launch, Impact casing, Reconstruction and bait and switch with a handling masterwork. Its not crafted and my progress is 1/5 is it still worth to farm red borders to get it crafted?

I've been torn between Apex and cold comfort - up 4 rockets almost immediately granted you need to build up the kills to ensure you have it ready with restoration ritual but Apex and reconstruction is so nice and no real set up needed

Because the new dungeon rocket launcher can't roll reconstruction....

I prefer reconstruction and bipod.
4 shots in one mag is phenomenal. I out dps my friends who has bait n switch rockets

Impact casing only bumps your damage by a whopping 1% or something insignificant. Boost reload if possible. Moar rocket=More Damage.

Might as well farm for the new dungeon rocket. Can have 5 in the mag essentially and have bns and EL

What Masterwork? Wish more people would say the MW since while assume Velocity is good think Handling also works and pairs well with Bait and Switch

reconstruction kinda sucks on rockets bc it takes way too long to fill with 2 rockets and you still end up reloading in most cases. slideways is better especially in recent raids/dungeons with the open space you have. also pairs super well with warlock's rain of fire and heat rises for double dodge. can get 3 izi and 9 rockets in 20 seconds.

I just crafted mine and leveled it to 30. Worth it !

I have it fully crafted with rec and bipod, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was gonna be, but you have to have secondary dmg like a fusion or something or there’s no reason over bait

In theory, velocity seems important. In testing, though, from closest to 0 to max velocity, there's not a noticeable difference. Velocity is much more noticeable and important on grenade launchers.

How about Bipod cuz you will be having 4 shots rather than two when paired with reconstruction

another one worth mentioning is slideways + bait and switch, it allows you to shoot all your rockets within the 11 second window of bait and switch by sliding (combine with rain of fire exotic to icarus dash inbetween to also reload your rocket)
