Why dairy free?

I made this today. Didn't have celery and Chipotle chilli powder. Also the canned beans were pinto beans and not black beans. Used 3 roughly chopped tomatoes instead of canned tomatoes.

But recipe turned out super delicious.

You guys call everything a soup because you are in a soup.
We call it sabji or curry.
