I have already decided that the way I'm going to survive when my 18yr old cat leaves me I'm going to have a dog. For the first time in my life. But I will rescue a senior. For however long they have and then another. That will b my retirement mission. I have another cat who is 9 and a bird. I'm sure it will b OK for them.

I have two Dobermans, and both are rescues. The boy adopted at 1 yr (turning 7 in August), girl last September when she was 4.

I love that dog. I had a English Bull Dog. They are amazing. But definitely have their issues.

My daughter recently rescued a bulldog that was used for breeding, and she's an amazing dog - full of personality and so friendly! Sure, there's a lot of work caring for her, but you couldn't ask for a better dog.

In 2003 my son's rescued an English Bulldog puppy from a puppy mill, she was my first English bulldog. I was lucky to have her for 14 years, amazing life for a bulldog She was the best companion of my life time. Since then I have rescued another who lived only a few years but these are amazing pets, ADOPT DON"T SHOP

I currently have my 5th English bulldog. All have been rescues and I agree with you 100%. This little girl has so many allergies but wouldn't take anything for her. She's a stubborn lovable cuddlebug ❤I also have a rescued boxer. They're best friends!
