When I use the method, I tend to use Sonubaits stiki method pellets, caught loads of carp on them, even an 18 pounder on the feeder rod

why use a method feeder would an open end cage feeder be just the same?

I found this very useful , especially the part about casting and holding the rod higher so you have the movment to place it in the rest afterwards , great video .

Great tutorial, thanks for sharing. I have a Ron Thompson C-14 Feeder 13'1" Action Heavy rod for a few years but I never used it. After watching your video I'm thinking I would like to give it a try. My rod comes with 3 type of tip section and I have no idea what are those for. I would like to hear and learn more about feeder rods in general. What makes a good feeder rod and what is the role and purpose of having 3 different action tip sections? If you could comment on this topic or make a video about feeder rods that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and cheers from Canada.
