I have ghosted several people. I did not due to either of the two things you mentioned.
I simply didn't find them interesting anymore.

Luckily I don't get ghosted bcs girls don't even reply to my "Hello..."🙃

An emotionally mature person couldn't do that. We have responsibilities even socially. If you leave the room to calm down then that's fine, but that's self control, you cone back to the table and face the issue eventually You work it out.. That's strength. The opposite of getting angry with a jigsaw puzzle, picking it up and throwing away.

Thank God I did not get ghosted after my last break up a year ago! But it still kind of felt like that… I finally came to interpret it as the dissolution of a giant story, the cut off of a narrative I was expecting to go the distance

I just realized that what caused me a whole lot of pain for years was me being ghosted, but I am not mad at all, actually I am grateful, I would have never discovered what an inner child means if not for that experience, I would not have learned ro love myself better because of it, any experience could make us better if we are observant of ourselves, if we treat ourselves with a little bit more compassion and questioning out own ways and seek to get better..

I am grateful to have been ghosted, I know who I am better and firm on keeping my principles that always had worked and update the ones that don’t.

I am grateful for the pain that brought me closer to myself as I would have never imagined.

I've been ghosted twice and I didn't care either time. I just figured they lacked the social ineptitude to talk about it.
People who truly care about you will never ghost you. So if being ghosted hurts you, you're either taking it too personal or you need to learn to read people better. Trust their actions, not their words.

I was emotionally abandoned./ shut out by my boyfriend in high school and ghosted by one of two bridesmaids after my wedding. Both were very painful. not always two options. Sometimes ghosting means a message of total inadequacy...connection doesn't oblige you to explain everything to your visa-vie...just bc it is too much information and effort to explain...basically it is about disconnection between the two

Ghosting is for cowards. You and I are worth more! It's on them and they aren't and will never be happy with their behaviour but you can be! Move on!
