Since I don't usually put gameplay explanations in my builds because I don't usually find them necessary, I'll leave a comment about something important for maximizing your damage output with this build.
Make sure you either have an ally or quickened cast create water to make enemies vulnerable to lightning damage before your casts to be able to deal massive amounts of damage.
Edit: A comment taught me some new information that Clerics unlike most other classes actually do give their Heavy Armor Proficiency when multiclassed into, and as such I actually think the best way to do this setup is 1 Sorcerer -> 2 Cleric -> 5 Sorcerer -> Respec at level 9 -> 2 Cleric -> 1 Wizard -> 6 Sorcerer -> 1 Wizard -> 2 Sorcerer.
This gets us Constitution saving throw proficiency in the early game and charisma item spell save DC in the late game where those 2 passive features will be at their most useful.
Also for items I forgot since a comment reminded me:
Act 1:
- Staff of Arcane Blessing - Found in the hidden basement of the Mage Tower in the underdark. (Equip the guiding light ring to find it)
Can you do a Druid build
Ответитьyoure builds are always amazing love them
ОтветитьWould it not be better to start sorcerer for the Con saving throws proficiency? You'll get heavy armor anyway from cleric subclass!
Awesome build, you made a lot of good ones!
I'm totally making this build! Thanks for the build guide ❤
ОтветитьAny tips on picking spells?
ОтветитьI love these guides. Short, sweet, to the point, and mentioning where you get the items is greatly appreciated.
ОтветитьI have fallen off this game and can’t seem to get myself to replay it again but I really enjoy the builds on this channel and the content is so entertaining it’s been awesome seeing your viewer base growing since the first video
ОтветитьI would suggest considering alert, as this build likely needs feats less than your other party members. So the initiative shield and bow can be used by others to have your full team going first in combat
Ответитьbro keep them up i need fun ideas (please add a little bit more combat ty)
ОтветитьIs there any technical reason why one shouldn't take the two levels of Cleric and two levels of Wizard first, and save all the Sorcerer levels to last?
ОтветитьI did my first run with storm sorcerer. Completely broken. Just the fact you can fly as a bonus action at level 1 each times you use à spell slot is nuts
ОтветитьI’m just starting this game so I’m a little confused what start class is this sorcerer or cleric
ОтветитьDuel wielding is an under Appreciated feat on sorcerer, and wizards having two Quarterstaves is so strong
ОтветитьWould this also work as a technically elemental build? I wanna build gale as such but i haven’t found any videos of how to build him like that, mostly using sorcerer, cleric, and wizard
Ответитьso in the end what class should one start with when respeccing? wanna give this a shot now that im at later level. also, how does this build learn chain lightning, using scrolls? sry if thats a noob question lol
ОтветитьS tier structuring and presentstion. Wish all build vids were edited like that
Ответитьno spellmight gloves ?
ОтветитьHow come in all these build 'Alert' is over looked?
Ответитьthe fallout editing and then the ship theme in divinity 2...mayne...the nostalgia!! the feels!
ОтветитьGreat build! Id strongly recommend switching the order of the first two levels though!
You still get the weapon and armor proficiency from cleric by level 2, but starting as sorcerer gives you proficiency in con saves aka concentration.
Also in practice, ive notice the order of levels doesnt seem to impact the stats used for items
How can I prevent my spells from hurting my allies?
ОтветитьThis looks so fun. I wanted to do something like this but was scared I would need tons of investment into cleric
ОтветитьThis is a really well put together guide!!
ОтветитьAlternatively, you can go Storm Sorcerer-2/Wizard-2/Tempest Cleric-8.
This gives you access to higher level Cleric spells, as well as more Channel Divinity charges, plus you get 2x metamagics and the ability to turn as many spell slots into Sorc Points as you want. Since all of your classes are full casters, you will get the full complement of spell slots including lvl 6 slots, and with Scribe Spell you have access to all Wizard spells (as long as you can find a scroll).
I think this gives the greatest access to spells known, along with the two essential features from Tempest Clerics and Storm Sorcerers.
Thank you for pointing out the game uses your most recently taken class for working out spell casting with items, I couldn't work out why the Elemental Necklace was only adding a +1 to my cantrips damage instead of the +5 for my Charisma (it was using my Wisdom from the Cleric Levels).
Might I suggest Heightened Casting as a Metamagic option, probably not as good as Quickened Spell but forcing everything to roll against Chained Lightning with Disadvantage can be a big help in maximising damage.
Why not starting sorcerer to get con save proficiency ?
ОтветитьTime to do a stormcaster run
ОтветитьGonna turn Gale into this
ОтветитьLooks very cool! I like rhe assassin build to from the style. Can you recommend one for beginners? Just bought the game and was hoping tonget some guidance with what to start. I pretty much like all classes for each their own styles so am not to picky on that. Thanks ❤
ОтветитьYou make the best guides, just earned a 👍👍and subscribed.
ОтветитьLevel 1-6 is just a borefest till u are well into Act2. Seen this build so many times with minor variations. Just play whatever u want till lvl 8 and than respec to this split. Untill u get call lightning its just a generic caster anyway.
ОтветитьDoes the stat boost for items also include spells learned through scrolls?
Ответитьidk what the general consensus is but storm sorc while strong feels so boring to play (lvl 7 now) to me. does it pick up or does it mean the playstyle just isn't for me?
Ответитьhahahahaah the magic hand throwing the rat made my day lol
Ответитьi love the item breakdown per act, very important imho, great guide!
ОтветитьI love the boots of stormy clamour (when I'm allowed to wear shoes)
PS I can't pronounce Markoheshkir either
ALSO TIL about the Feywild Sparks giving +1 Spell DC
Can you do warlock/ sorcerer or wizard?
ОтветитьLeveling has to be sorcerer(constitution savings), 2 lvls tempest cleric (you get everything from subclas not cleric) 4 lvls sorc 1 lvl wizard and finish with 4 more on sorc
ОтветитьNice with the FO4 reference. Subscribed
ОтветитьSo at lvl 9 we should respect into lvl 1 cleric and lvl 2 wizard then full sorcerer? I dont understand the progression tho. Sry.
ОтветитьI dropped 154 point's of dmg on Myrkul with one lightning bolt at level 9 with this build. I'ts bananas.
ОтветитьYes a mew Video
ОтветитьMOM STEALTH JUST DROPPED A NEW BUILD!
ОтветитьDivinity Original Sin 2 Theme <3, I love your videos by far my favorite guides. I have tried them all so far
Ответить"Thats alot of damage"- to lazy to look up name
ОтветитьGreat guide as always almost made all of your builds and they don’t miss keep up the good work
ОтветитьAbsolutely approve of this build it's strong consistently and can be party face
e.g. During Lv3 cast Chromatic orb (Lv2) deals 3d8x2(Wet)x2(Crit)="96" one shot every boss
Also, I recommend Staff of Arcane Blessing for 2d4 to Spell Attack Rolls during Act 1
