Loved the video, but do have a question as far as material is concerned. My real estate exam has math questions which require a pen and paper and calculator, do you have information as far how they handle those materials?

Pearson VUE is theaf company steeling our money ,,, you talking about the policy !! As per the policy the observer should be polite with us and talk well Not shout like we are in prison .
As per the policy the observer should alert me before end the session .
It was clear from the beginning that the observer wanted to end the session in any way , I do not know if he doesn't want to work or what

Does anyone know how they handle restroom breaks during the online exam...I have UC so I take more restroom breaks than normal. Thanks

Hi everyone, I have exam today but I couldn’t make it because of room pictures they asked me to take. I took room photos dozens of times but they won’t approve. I don’t know what’s wrong every time they ask me reload again reload again, there after onVue app stock and reloading again and again, my time was running out and I couldn’t give the exam so now I’m on chat with them calling them to resolve the problem. So kind of bad day today for me. This is just information that be careful do everything before time which I did when the time come's and is everything get wrong. Hello, So we have to have a web cam or can the cam be built into my laptop? Also, I like to read my questions out loud ( stupid I know) Are we able to do that?

Just wondering how they want you to take photos? Is it an app they send you to on your mobile? As I haven’t seen anything about that part other than “take photos” of ID.

You say there is enough integrity; how do we know this is true? I tested the first time and was interrupted several times, and the computer went offline. I retook it and received the same score on attempts two and three. I think this exam may be a scam to get a repeated test. I am allowed to use books for my test, but every attempt was interrupted for silly reasons, such as being unable to see my eyes.

I don't understand the Cell Phone Rule. Can you explain that in a better Context? It says don't have the cell phone in view and you can't use the cell phone once it's started, but have it on in case we contact you. How? If I don't know it's them calling and I go to look at it they will end my test as I broke a rule. Can I just turn my cell phone off?

What about headphones. Are you allowed to use one?

These blood suckers will cancel the exam for any reason at all: you move your lips, look away, or anything else.

The no water thing seems extreme… especially considering this exam takes about 90 minutes

If I have to move my camera around then doing this with just the built-in webcam on the laptop isn't going to work very well.

Appreciate the info! Another video i watched directed people to cover up as much of the things in your room with sheets. I have dual monitors that can't be removed. I don't intend to use them, i'll leave them powered off, but do i need to cover them with a sheet. Have you had a proctor ask to cover things up or like the one gentleman mentioned about emptying the drawers to your desk?

please let me know that do I need to do setup of download Onvue on any day before the exam date or just on the same exam day? I can see this system test- which is asking to download the onvue and run the Onv ue and showing some code.

In my case, every time they released the exam paper it jumped to Survey and ended. It happened 3 times. How do i get in contact with Pearson vue?

Don't waste your time with the Pearson VUE online. If you can take the exam at a testing location. They can and will revoke your testing at any point. They don't provide any information on why. They take your money and provide a poor excuse for why they won't let you retake your test. I did it because of the convenience it ended up being a waste of time and money. Go to a testing site if possible dealing directly with Pearson Vue is just a bigger time suck.

I just had my first experience with the online testing last week and moving forward I'm going to be going to a test center whenever possible.
Yes I was in the wrong, but I was shocked at the lack of caring and customer service from Pearson Vue.
Tested multiple times beforehand, and they certainly make you acknowledge that there's only one monitor allowed, so it would be nice if they would tell you that you can't use a headset, or if the test would pick that up.
But nope they rejected me during the check-in because I didn't have an external mic and still took my exam fee.
Tried to reschedule or get a refund with customer service and they weren't having it. Eventually got somebody to open a case but that never went anywhere.

Please, if you can help me I'd be grateful.I've tried taking the A+ 1101 twice online. It says connection error and I've literally waited over 3 hrs and a proctor never reaches out.The system diagnostic says everything is fine, connection, network, mic, screen, speaker etc. But whenever I get to the front of the queue it says "hmmm a network error ocurred".

This ocurred on wednesday, it ocurred today again when I rescheduled the exam.

I've turned off firewall, virus protection, used two different devices. Unplugged my router and connected the devices directly to the ethernet port. But pearson never gives a reason or helps it just says they can offer a reschedule.

Is there another vendor besides f*** pearsononVUE that proctors the exam?

I took ITIL v4 exam with people cert and their system worked just fine 4 weeks ago.

@infosec for Humans, On their website it says you will be recorded during the exam, but you mentioned we could turn our camera away. Can you clarify I am not sure I understand what is expected. Also I think you are allowed to drink water(clear bottle and keep your face in front of the camera at all time) My exam is coming up in a few hours :D
