Starfield's physics engine needs work. Can't break glass, can't push NPCs out of your way. Feels dated.
ОтветитьSo... No battlefield 1 or 5 destruction huh ? No Crysis from like 13 years ago ? Hell nah man!
ОтветитьBurgeoning...
ОтветитьNo Space Engineers ?
ОтветитьThe Finals is coming !
ОтветитьTeardown--- usually just cut the safe and the alarm switch thing off a wall into a dump truck and move it closer to another one to reduce objective distance.
ОтветитьYou forgot Teardown. Edit. I wrote this comment after you said #1 BEAMNG.. Before I watched the extra bonus part. I can't assert how strongly I LOVE Teardown.
ОтветитьBefore I watch this I hope you mentioned "Inversion" and not just "Portal and Portal 2"
ОтветитьRDR 2 left the chat
ОтветитьPaper Beast, Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers, Broforce, Octodad: Dadliest Catch
ОтветитьI don’t think any game is gonna top Half-Life: Alyx for a while.
ОтветитьNote that most of the games on the list are old, "Indies" or very focused on physics. Large companies rarely implement systems like this nowadays.
I admit that I didn't know Red Faction and Instruments of Destruction, thank you for the recommendation. Greetings from Brazil, Gameranx!

ОтветитьRigs Of Rods is what brought me to BeamNG as soon as i got my own PC.
Ответитьi want a game like red faction guerilla in 2024
ОтветитьAdd to that list Boneworks, it's like what half life 2 with its physics based gameplay would be in VR
Ответитьyou listed half life alyx and NOT boneworks???
Ответитьno noita?
Ответитьdisgusting, teardown does not deserve "bonus", it deserves number 1
ОтветитьMight I suggest for the next list Nuclear Option, it has the BEST plane destruction physics engine I've seen in a war flight sim!
Ответитьi think the first red faction title was one of its kind. the glass house test room was so fun.
Ответитьstar citizen is pretty good and plans to be way to realistic
ОтветитьRed faction plus beamng plus snow runner equals the most realistic driving game because red faction if your car crashes into a building at 100 miles an hour you going to destroy both your car and the building
ОтветитьI'm really surprised Lego hasn't done a game with big destruction physics because they'd have the perfect excuse to have blocky graphics to make the physics actually playable on more systems. Plus they could add the destruction physics to really anything in the environment including the ground itself if they wanted.
ОтветитьThe Developer of Instruments of Destruction announced they will be making the mistake of shifting the focus of their vehicle building game (with one of the most porerful yet easy to use vehicle building systems) AWAY from vehicle building as far as the campaign is concerned and relegate that current core aspect of the game to optional sidequests/reruns of levels beaten with prebuilt machines.
Must be fun solving a puzzle after being forcefed the solution.
Physx needs to come back into form
ОтветитьBesiege pvp is fucking funny
ОтветитьNot including Bonelab is a crime
ОтветитьStar Wars Force Unleashed should be on this list imo. It's similar to Control in the kind of powers your character has but objects in the environment that appear to be static like metal railings and stuff will also sometimes get bent but not destroyed and there are very few games I've seen that do that. It also has some of the best looking glass destruction physics I've seen and wood splintering. And to to it off, it also uses the Euphoria engine that GTA and RDR use to make NPCs react realistically to what's happening to them.
ОтветитьSea of Thieves has the best water physics
ОтветитьBonelab also has excellent physics giving you a full body and a scalable avatar system that works in multiplayer too allowing you to pick up your friend by the head or hand them a gun.
Ответитьno they havent, phisics have been neglected in most games
ОтветитьHopefully battlefield can combine all of the phsysics
Ответитьi literally thought ab studying aerospace engineering bc of how good i was at ksp
ОтветитьI think physics in gaming has taken a huge step backwards compared to 15 years ago.
At least where triple A gaming is concerned.
Most games on this list are either old, Indy games or I am not really sure why they are on the list at all (Zelda is great, but physics wise nothing special, and Alyx physics aren’t good either).
Control is the only new triple a game that actually has great physics on this list.
Bro forgot about Boneworks.
ОтветитьSnow runner copy mud runner prisics
ОтветитьGTA iv having some of the best physics of all time:
Ответитьcouldn't agree more about Red Faction, I do want a new one, also Control impressed me to no end.
ОтветитьYou forgot Star Wars: The Force Unleashed's physics.
ОтветитьGTA 4 was stupidly ahead of it's time, still to this date no game has matched the level of physical interaction GTA 4 has to offer
ОтветитьCan't believe Noita isn't on this list. Every single particle is simulated. The number of ways you can live or die are incredible and everything affects everything.
ОтветитьNice video, I will personally add Oxygen Not Included (It may not be the aim of the game, but physics really is a major part of "survival".)
ОтветитьThis is one of your guys best lists IMO. I agree and love all the games I have played on this list. We need more games like this. I'm thinking RFG in control universe with beam ng car physics would be the best game ever made. Great video guys!
ОтветитьRainbow six siege?
ОтветитьOh man Red Faction. That was the first time I really felt like the world was real.
ОтветитьWhat about Battlefield 3? You could destroy a lot in the game even in multiplayer! Not like CoD, where you can break a window XD
ОтветитьDestruction physics are something modern games are serverly lacking
Ответить
