I dont know much about farming. But isnt it better if the farmhouse is placed on top rather than on bottom of the hill? Isn't it less damp and gives good visibility all around the farm?

Hello, I'm considering growing seedling trees in the same way that you do. What are some options for selling them in bulk? If I grew a couple hundred of them, I feel like that would be a lot of supply to try and find buyers for without some sort of pipeline. I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thank you!

Morgan; If you consider " Black Walnut Trees, " Their wood is " expensive and Highly Desirable, " And of course it takes a long time .
But if your looking at the long term, They when the farm is passed on, will bring Quite the return !
If you do so it would be more prudent, Timewise to purchase trees that are several years old and Producing !

This was so nice to watch. I've only recently started following you but each video gives me a insight into not only you and your farm but also myself. In particular how you talked about challenges and getting down on yourself. I'm always looking at my todo list and thinking 'why haven't I done all this yet?'. But this video gave me a little nudge to take a breath and look over what I've achieved and not just what remains undone.

I´ve seen this three times now, and feel the same happiness everytime. Thank for being there!

I miss the time when I worked at a farm, there was always something new to do, i learned by mistakes i made and i learned a lot about farm animals
Now i have a small apiary with 10 hives and i love it, i also have a little blacksmith shop where i forge my own tools and stuff

this kind of dream should be accessible to anyone.. Governments and political make it really hard, even impossible.. because a project like this, demand a lots of money, and government want, WANT!!! CRAVE!!!! your money. not only your money, they also want your soul.

If we were free, this kind of life would be really peacefully. You work = you get your money $$ that's it. you want to spend it to help the community? you can! but in no way, you should be forced to give 50% + of your salary to governments.

The farm philosophy is found in 'farming the land' for crop growth. Important to realize, that the average homeowner doesn't tend their land as the farmer does, but they should, in a (different) way, specific to the needs of the land, their lifestyle. All land needs nourishment, rejuvenation, revitalizing, in similar but different ways.

I want to live in the country but i live in the city but this comes to show that anything can happen through experience.

"I know that the work is never going to be done, and in some ways that is overwhelming, but in other ways that concept is completely liberating" -- I just started myself a massive project similar to yours with no prior farming experience... and that way of seeing the overwhelming work and never ending problems as something "completely liberating" feels just like my new motto.
