Two goalkeeping errors in my mind cost Germany the game, and it wasn't their first-choice goalkeeper anyway. Vivi Endemann should've also put away that sitter, and it would've been 2-2 which better reflected the overall balance, they were pretty evenly matched.

Kyra Cooney-Cross and Gorry are such an utter mismatch. The Arsenal player has great positioning, awareness and can time and place a pass. Gorry is from a long-passed era of women's football, hobbling around trying to keep up.

Certainly a good game, not quite as fast as the England game. Never the lass a good watch .

Ref a disaster. Why award a yellow for what was a flagrant push by Popp??? These refs need proper training. Also the German goal should have been disallowed for another stiff hand in the back. Also the clearly missing Australian penalty. My Goodness. And still the Mathildas win.
