I tried this on my GMK Red Samurai spacebar and Staebies stabs and it broke the stem :( i had to buy another spacebar, so be careful guys
Ответитьomg thank you! ive been using tape and its such a pain in the ass
ОтветитьFlip your spacebar backwords
ОтветитьTysm
Ответитьwhat keyboard is that? The one in the beginning of the video?
ОтветитьYou save my spacebar
Ответитьwhat board is that? looks nice
Ответитьbrooo, i did it just now and it works, i love you xD
ОтветитьNO WAY BRO THIS WORKS SO WELL, GUYS THIS IS LEGIT
Ответитьalternatively, you can use blue painter's/masking tape. Place the tape on the stem hole, covering it. Afterwards, mount your keycap, pressing the keycap down with a little more pressure until the tape tears into the stem hole. if it's still not tight enough, you can repeat the process until it's tight
Ответитьomg thats very helpful
ОтветитьThis is way better and easier than those videos where they cut off some stabilizer wires and shit, relubing and all, like ain't nobody got time for that
ОтветитьAbsolute genius for this!!!
ОтветитьI tried so many things like taping or food wrapping the wires lol
Ответитьthanks for breaking my keycaps
Ответитьin my case the rattle didn't go away at all :(
ОтветитьDidnt work for me
ОтветитьSo it works, but it can quickly get worse. Finding the right balance is really not easy. That you even have to do something like that.
ОтветитьAlright well now I know what I’m doing when I get off work 😂 I’ve got like 3 boards with perfectly straight wires and they have this weird rattle. Bout to Sarah wrap em’ all!
ОтветитьAn easier method is using telfon tape!
ОтветитьThanks 🙏 it's not completely gone but fixed a lot of that bad rattling sound
Ответитьidk why but now the middle of the spacebar sounds bad
ОтветитьThis came up when I Googled something along the lines of "how to fix broken stabilizer". I didn't even know that's what was causing my issues before I did some more searching. Anyways, this fixed it. When I pressed on the left side it would jump off the right side and vice versa. All good now though. Thanks!
ОтветитьOhhh this helps so much. I couldn’t figure out the problem but it is just a bad spacebar key cap
ОтветитьThanks man i finnaly fixed my goofy ass space bar❤
Ответитьwild that i use amazon keycaps and have never had this problem but gmk keycap users have it
Ответитьwhat keycaps r those?
ОтветитьI thought this was because the stab wire is not flat/straight. Hmmm I need to revisit some of my stabs
ОтветитьI use masking tape for this 😊
ОтветитьTried this with tape and cracked two gmk spacebars🙏
ОтветитьScotch tape also works for me as well.
Ответитьwould this method work for my wobbly keycaps?
Ответитьwhat keycaps are these? they look beautiful
ОтветитьGood solution. I just ignore it.
ОтветитьI did not know this was a thing all i ever got told is it might be a warped bar.
ОтветитьGiga chad fix
ОтветитьHolee mod is the solution! Thank me later!
ОтветитьThis isn't the rattle I'm getting and this doesn't solve my problem. Ugh. Stabilizers are hard.
ОтветитьI love you with all my heart
ОтветитьAwesome
ОтветитьIf its one side thats ratteling just remove your spacebar and flip it over to see if that fixed it if that didnt then the wrap wont
Ответитьthose r some coool keycaops
ОтветитьWow never knew this. Thanks!
ОтветитьExactly what I was looking for, thank you sir
Ответитьwhat wrap?
ОтветитьAwesome tip Alex! I've found putting the cling wrap over the stab stem vs putting it in the keycap stem works much better & has much less of a chance of getting bunched up & forgotten in the keycap. Although the best fix for this I've found is to use scotch tape over the stab stem. It will stick to the stem so you don't have to worry about it getting stuck in the keycap & forgotten at all. Plus it just seems to work better as it is just a tiny bit thicker than cling wrap.
Ответитьthis video genuinely just fixed the ticking problem i had with my stabs for the past 2 years, thank you for this 🙏🙏🙏
ОтветитьUnderrated tip Alex! 🙌
ОтветитьI used teflon tape and worked for me, thanks!
