Nice job and just proves that everything old is new again. I remember when faux marble and wood were popular back in the 80's (?). I remember watching Martha Stewart doing it.
ОтветитьIncredible! I love this! ❤❤❤
ОтветитьBeautiful! I didn’t see this coming! Wow❤
ОтветитьLooks super! The brown is nicer than I thought! Just an aside- if you do this again may e film from over head so we can see better what you are doing? Love it!
ОтветитьChristina, that came out gorgeous!! I love it! Nice job on the veining. 💜❤
ОтветитьYou are a gem! Your instructions and teaching are always clear. Thank you. Great job! 👍
ОтветитьI used to do faux painting marbeling in the late 1990’s and found that blending faux marble with a badger hair brush and a feather for the veining. Good job with your technique! Love your videos! ♥️
ОтветитьWOW! looks fantastic!!!
ОтветитьSuper makeover! Love your videos! Perfect music with today's video, too!

ОтветитьNice! I am loving it and the colors you used in the top! <3
ОтветитьI Really Love It! Turned from Cute to Sophisticated 👍🏼
And Happy to hear that Brown is BACK! It’s such a warm color and looks best with Gold or Brass.
Absolutely beautiful
ОтветитьThat is amazing!
ОтветитьUsing a feather is a great way to apply realistic looking veining.
ОтветитьBeautiful makeover!
ОтветитьWow. Very nice
ОтветитьWow! Your faux marble top is beautiful! Great job! I love how modern the whole piece looks now - the umber paint color was a great choice! ❤️

ОтветитьI love this piece, Christina ♥️ What a great job!!!
ОтветитьWow, that came out crazy great!
ОтветитьThis turned out fantastic!!
ОтветитьTo paint or not to paint...? No question--you know how to bring out the best in a piece!
ОтветитьBeautiful finish. ❤ I love the color. The hardware and the marble finish. You really did a great job 🌹
ОтветитьIt’s beautiful! Thank you for the tip about sealing the tape. That will come in handy 😊
ОтветитьI just love to watch you work,so professional😊
ОтветитьGreat job Christina!! Awesome job on your first time of faux marbling.
ОтветитьWell, turned out great! I'm about to film my latest project - a lovely 60s table but with a badly painted top!
ОтветитьLooks beautiful! Would you recommend using a roller for the top clear coat instead of the foam brush?
ОтветитьUsing a large Turkey or chicken wing feather for veining works so well, because you can wiggle the feather as you simultaneously drag. Using a feather creates the natural unevenness found in marble. Then going back with a super soft badger brush, or large sable, even a wide chip brush softening. It’s worth it take a test board and practice.
ОтветитьYour makeover turned out beautifully and that "marble" looks great! I'm supposed to help my mom do her countertops with one of those marble-look epoxy kits. I'm such a perfectionist that is giving me anxiety thinking about it. 😅
Ответитьwow!!
ОтветитьHello Christina, have you ever done that round cabnet and turned it into a realistic looking bookshelf ? Also love the marbling, very realistic
ОтветитьThat looks amazing!!!
ОтветитьNice job Christina! Yes it is intimidating getting started but the results are beautiful!
ОтветитьWow beautiful!!!!😍
ОтветитьThis looks amazing!!!
ОтветитьSuch a beautiful transformation. Great job!
ОтветитьGOURGUS 💗🤗☺️
ОтветитьLove it!!! Do you keep most of your furniture make overs?
ОтветитьWOW!!! I just found you and love your channel! That dresser is amaaaaaaazing!!!!!! I'm on the look out for one just like it or similar to try this technique. I have an old table in a bedroom that needs replacing.
ОтветитьI absolutely loved the piece.
ОтветитьI love it. The marbling came out perfect. Great Job!
