Kids a genius and a brilliant artist but mum wants her to be ‘normal’ - only in America!!
Bad choice in casting. I fast forwarded from 20 mins to 1 hr and it’s still about “pretty mommy” !!

I was searched some English with good sub titles but I am not get but now I get good one 😅

I thought the Mom supported her art by having supplies ready so I was surprised when she apologized for not supporting her art at the end. It really made sense after that. We have to be humble and honest, the Mom did a great job showing reticence, that was enough, it was a subtle disapproval, kids need wholehearted approval and support, teens too, especially. Strange and wonderful film. Subdued. Lovely.

But it was the comment of the century!

it's like someone wrote this about me , even to the point of pouring something all over myself coz I'm concentrating on something else .
I could never operate a till and was told I was stupid, not able to retain info even when it interests me ( which is frustrating ) extremly creative , good at art and anything else that is creative . Only really comfortable around animals and children . Highly perceptive and resourceful , great in an emergency but simple daily things are a massive challenge .
was part diagnosed with dyslexia but did not have the finances to pay for the official expensive test so that I may access support and even if I had the funding , I struggle with navigating public transport , reading time tables etc which causes extreme anxiety and depression . Not sure how I have managed to stay alive THIS long to be honest , especially alone

I liked that one! Our son had dyslexia and it was quite a challenge as a homeschool mom but so much so for him!!! I felt like your film captured so much of his struggles! Thank you! So many do not understand how dyslexia touches so many areas of life!

I have dyslexia and I’ve never heard of someone with it only being able to read upside down I have heard of something that makes you only able to read upside down but it’s not dyslexia dyslexia makes reading really difficult and you see letters backwards or you misplace letters in words

The story is great but the acting is horrible!

That Nuro dude was rude as hell. No disrespect, but your daughter can be a lawyer or a lunch lady just because she was questioning him about putting her daughter on Adderall.

This is such a distressing movie to watch. I could not watch past the 30 min mark.

It's just the very controling attitude of that mother. Just one child and she has no space at all.

Research advised it will harm the Thyroid, but it improved to not need meds. Do your research. Consider economic motivations to sk-ew results.

Winter was me...I was Winter. A wonderful, inspirational movie. God bless all of you it took to create it! It's wonderful knowing I was not odd, useless. An artist, loner at heart, it took me years as a child of the 1960s to learn ways to adapt. There was no "title" for me, which was probably good at the time. I overcame my struggles as I lived, working hard, day after day, year after years. I bonded quickly with animals and old folks, but not so to my peers. Now, at 66 years old, I have accepted the way God made me, and am comfortable in my own skin. It just took me much longer to learn, to realize, my gifts, and my abilities and am at peace in my own skin. My heart is happy in my smaller than most friends circles. I love being surrounded by my children, my animals, and the woodland setting that gives me the serenity I need to thrive. Hope is eternal, thank God He has given us the ability to dream, to love and to hope. And thank you to the writer, the actors, producers...who shared Winter's story. God bless you one and all.

Came across this movie accidentally ( although now i feel it vouldnt be an accident ) and im so glad. I raise a special needs child, it hits home so often,
