ОтветитьHey it's me what a big surprise
Calling you up from a restaurant round the bend
Just got in from way up North
I'm achin' and tired now and I could use a friend
I might be a fool
To think that you do
Wanna see me again...
I know it's been awhile since i talk to you
Nothing wrong, just nothing ever goes as planned
Many times i thought i'd call
But didn't have your number in my hand
I know it's true
That you'd never do
The same thing to me...
I never meant to make you cry
And though I know i shouldn't call
It just reminds us of the cost
Of everything we've lost
Bad timing that's all
And maybe soon there'll come a day
When no more tears will fall
We each forgive a little bit
And we both look back on it
It's just bad timing that's all
We used to have so many plans
Something always seemed to turn out wrong
Never could catch up to you
Moving on and doing all you've done
I don't know why
The harder I try
The harder it comes
I never meant to make you cry
And though I know i shouldn't call
It just reminds us of the cost
Of everything we've lost
Bad timing that's all
And maybe soon there'll come a day
When no more tears will fall
We each forgive a little bit
And we both look back on it
It's just bad timing that's all
We each forgive a little bit
And we both look back on it
It's just bad timing that's all 😊
If you're young try and think about this song. Some relationships end they're just bad timing and you learn and you move and hopefully find someone else and live happily ever after. Or, you grow old and realize there was no more next time and all you have are the memories you blamed on Bad Timing.
ОтветитьI first heard this song just days after a bad breakup with my first love. It really hit home and the timing almost seemed providential. It also taught me to move on and learn from my mistakes when I got another chance. Also it introduced me to Blue Rodeo, so doubly wonderful!
ОтветитьI miss my wife

ОтветитьOmg i miss this music
ОтветитьSomeone else said it...Canadian music at its best
ОтветитьI remember this song featured in an episode of Corner Gas when we all thought Lacey was leaving the show as it turned out that it was a dream that Hank had
Ответить5Cents, but I need to be with you. I just can't take it anymore. I can't find a solution.
Ответить5Cents, I used to have ti restrain myself from jumping in front of the many logging trucks that drove by the property. Later, I couldn't make my bed, do the dishes or go outside by myself. You want me to know that could be my life again. I don't think I can do it.
Ответить5Cents, maybe you tell me you don't love me still and when did you ever change your mind?
Ответить5Cents, and maybe I have to walk away from you again. Why, don't you just bury my right now.
ОтветитьMaybe, we just never got it right. But know my love for you never changed, if that matters.
ОтветитьGreat song saw them in concert a couple of times.
ОтветитьGreat days in Canada then, unlike todays shambles of a country.
Ответить❤
ОтветитьSongs really were that hush hush on state of the world they hint to Hand out there musical lecture
ОтветитьDiscovered this song watching an episode of Corner Gas. Found out who it was and it opened up a world of great music!!
