MoviePeasant Reviews: The Revenant (2015)

This is a re-upload of my personal opinion of Alejandro G. Iñárritu's Oscar-nominated biographical adventure survival thriller. I own nothing of the footage of the film shown. All rights to the images shown belong to Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation.

Film overview:

The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy, Domhnall Gleeson and Will Poulter. 19th-century hunter Hugh Glass (DiCaprio) is left for dead after a grizzly bear brutally attacks him and after his selfish fellow hunter John Fitzgerald (Hardy) kills Glass' son and then leaves Hugh, Hugh goes on a brutal and horrific journey to exact revenge.

Overall opinion:

DiCaprio gives one of his better performances and the film's story does have potential. Unfortunately, the film is too visually dazzling that it slows down the story.
