ОтветитьThat's amazing that she can read at a 2nd grade level and only 3 years old wow
ОтветитьThis video is THE MOST HELPFUL!!! I cannot thank you enough.
ОтветитьThat's Indian English. Well, for me I teach sounds avoiding more vowel sounds. Like /r/ and not /eur/ like that. Well we teach phonetics differently.
ОтветитьMy kids like this video so much
ОтветитьHi Judy
I’m from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰

ОтветитьMrs. Alvarez, how do you teach the advanced phonics sounds? Ck, qu, ng, ch, sh, th, wh, or, ar, er, ir, ur, ai, ay, ee, ea, ie, oa, oe, ow, ue, oo, ou, oi, and oy
ОтветитьThank you! I feel bad because im behind wit my baby. Shes 4. But ive read to her instead of doing this. I am now working with her. Shes homeschooled
ОтветитьIts really frustrating when the parent didn't learn phonics growing up. I have to relay on videos on the Internet because i can't help him say the sounds of the blends correctly.
ОтветитьI have been watching this for very long. Your way of teaching and explanation is too good. ❤ Thanks for sharing
ОтветитьHow do I get the box books
ОтветитьI'll try this with my 7 year old tomorrow, he knows the sounds and letters but he's struggling to read. I'll update my comment after this summer holiday.
ОтветитьI live in a country is not speaking English. I have a little bit concern when I start to teach English for my daughter 3 years old. Should I start by teach her how to read letter or learn vocabulary by topic? What do you think?
ОтветитьThis works. I was reading books 📚 at age 3. My dad did this with me. It's very simple. Lifelong reader! 🌟
ОтветитьYou are my hero!!!! Thank you for sharing this simple, minimalist approach!
Ответитьplease make a playlist for all phonics videos
ОтветитьI have a doubt in the chart why there is no " ca ce ci co cu" I can't understand
ОтветитьThank you! My 2 year old knows letter sounds because of your instruction! ❤
ОтветитьDo you have a video of just the letter blends?
ОтветитьWhen we being honest English is a very ridiculous language. Ridiculous...
Ответить❤
ОтветитьHow can we get the phonics primer list? The link is not working.
ОтветитьFor those who wants to know why c p and x the consonant are not in the chart of blends
Here this may help you to understand
In vowel blending (aieou), certain consonants like "c," "p," and "x" are not commonly used because they may result in complex or uncommon sounds when combined with vowels.
- *C:* The letter "c" often has a soft sound (like "s") before "e," "i," and "y" and a hard sound (like "k") before "a," "o," and "u." This can complicate vowel blending.
- *P:* The letter "p" can create abrupt sounds and might not blend smoothly with vowels in a way that produces common and easily pronounceable combinations.
- *X:* The letter "x" can represent different sounds, and its use in blending with vowels might lead to less common or challenging combinations.
The goal of vowel blending is to create simple, clear, and commonly used sounds, which is why certain consonants are avoided in these specific combinations.
How can one get the video please

ОтветитьThank you so much ❤. This helps me alot . I am not teacher but the girl of the worker can't afford to go for phoenix and thier parents entrusted me to teach. ❤❤
ОтветитьSimply put Thank You!
ОтветитьMy son just doesn't get it :/ I'm not sure what to do differently. It hasn't clicked for him. He's been stuck in the first step for over a year.
ОтветитьAmazing
ОтветитьLove
ОтветитьThanks for the refresher. Seriously, a great little educational video.
ОтветитьHi.. May I know where is 'c' & 'p' in the blending chart?
ОтветитьGood job
ОтветитьThanks for being so creative for us to our children ❤
ОтветитьI know you teach them Spanish too, do you think it’s better to stagger introduction of a second language or at least reading until they learn in the first one, or do you think setting up a color coded system would work, like say Red letters for language 1 and blue for language 2, or do you think younger children might not handle that as well at least in terms of simultaneous reading instruction in two languages, such as English and Spanish or another Romance/Latin language like French, Italian etc(but only two languages for the child)?
ОтветитьHow can one teach Adult how to read and spell
ОтветитьYou are the best
U are such an angle
I have confused how to teach reading and the letters themselves are almost irrelevant at the beginning but every educational activity is the recognition of the letter, not sound. I am starting this today with ages 3 and 5.
ОтветитьThis works💕💪
