If it needs to be 150mm above the damp course, how come can still see the air brick which should be below the damp course surely?

Is it OK to lay it in such way? It seems the air brick is half blocked.

Decking always groove side down for air circulation.

What if the soil pipe restricts you to place the legar beam? How do you get around it??

Why do they always put the decking boards on upside down in the uk,grooves always should be on the underside to give air passage to help the bearers dry out on them wet days,stops rot fast,….

Hi Craig, I’m about to build decking with composite and I’m using your video to help make the wooden subframe.
When it comes to the timber, is it important to use green treated? The timber merchant delivered yellow treated c16 which seemed too soft for outdoor use. He assured me it would be okay but I wanted your professional advice.

Can you swear the Kreg deck jig is worth it? I saw the reviews on Amazon UK and most say the driver & screws that come with it are too soft.
