Australia just does not learn from mistakes on invasive species.
In short all I am going to say is "Florida zoo, bad weather, Burmese python. lead to extinction of native wildlife"
Just imagine if these Komodos ever get into the wild.

After watching ' real wild ' video of keepers keeping metres of distance with the dragons and themselves in open air, and being extra careful and all, watching these keepers sitting inside a steel box and welcoming the dragon calling him a " mate" makes me feel really nervous...😅

Those mannerisms are exactly like Steve's. So much humble and caring passion. Bloody awesome! 🙂😊
Is it true that Komodo's have a bite that can cause rapid decay in whatever animal they bite, due to a certain enzyme in their saliva?

Those enclosures are too small. That's not humane. These are spirited, advanced animal beings. Breeding and promoting the Monitor Lizard species is important science and biological preservation. I politely request larger moving enclosures. Thank you.

never thought locking 2 animals up in a closed area and forcing them to rape each other was gonna get a “well done” vibe by humans. Imagine if this was humans instead of komodos.

I love how they dont force it but encourage it. They put them together but let nature still take its course. When it didnt work with Gilly, they didnt force Inda or Gilly to continue the interactions. They tried with Naga instead but still let it happen naturally over a few weeks. Some zoos would just artificially inseminate or something but in this case, they just encouraged a mated pair but left it up to them if it was gonna end up the way they hoped.

I love Komodo Dragons since I was 8 years, yea they are dangerous and creepy with the claws sharper than lion's claws, the venom defense in their saliva and razor teeth, but when you look at those cute face scaly face with those precious eyes and be like "¿how can a animal so beautiful, cute and amazing be dangerous and feared?", I learn from Steve Irwin that animals attack only when they are hungry and considero you a food ítem or they are considering you are threat and a danger, if you show them you are a friend and mean no harm, they won't attack or hurta you, good job for Robert, Chandler and the rest of the Australia Zoo staff in helping Indah and Naga during their "romantic date", hope Komodo Dragons are born in Australia Zoo
