I love that he made or self-sourced all of the materials in this kit instead of reselling something bought from elsewhere, and I also love that he included multiple tinder types to use with the flint and steel set all in one package.

I'm in for this. I like the stickers it comes with and that it comes with a good supply of everything you need. I haven't had to much luck finding flint around here and I have just been using a flattened out piece of a bearing race for a striker. This looks much more official, especially with the leather bag!

i have been looking for a full kit for a while. looks like a great kit. i like the quality and thought put into this kit. i would love to use this for my Texas bushcrafting. i would also like to be included in the drawing.

Flint and steel is my FAVORITE method to start a fire. His strikers seems to throw great sparks and I live the Frontier style leather pouch with the antler tine as a toggle. Great GAW.

Very sweet fire kit. The threaded tin is awesome for char cloth. His is the first I've seen to provide two strikers as well. I'm in. Let's see 7 days from 9/14 is the 21st now that's a very special day for me and has been my entire life, hint, hint; lol.

I like how it gives a very good reference material for what you need to start a fire by this technique. Very very nice learning material, a great thing to have. Oh and i'm in!

i think the thing i like most is...all of it ! i have never used a flint and steel , or chaga . but i have had my tin pop open when making char cloth . needless to say ...fire ensued and i had to start over . please enter me into the give away . 198

hah, I have shown these on video and is always hard to show the striking and then you need the camera angle up a little for blowing the tinder in fire. Saw you were making sure you were low enough for the camera but wanted to extend your bundle a little more :) I would be in for this to give to one of my students.

guess I forgot to say why I liked it...like that it is more complete than others..chaga and birchbark and also I agree has the screw on lid.

What's not to like about this kit? I mean, it has got to be the most well rounded, all inclusive kit I have seen. I wish I would have known about this kit before I started building my flint and steel kits. I have 4 fire kits and I have flint and steel in all 4. Thanks for letting me and your other viewers know about this product.

That was the best shower of sparks I have ever seen on camera Joe. That is obviously some great chert and a fine, well heat treated striker. A pleasure to watch you using it. I hope to win it.

im in and what i like about this kit is the thought that these are the items one would have back in that time of nothing and rely on for survival so the thing i like the most is the knowledge and skill to use such a beutiful authentic set effectively in a time of nothing

I like to go in the woods to get away from modern "conveniences" and connect with nature and simplicity is key to revel in nature's beauty. P.S. I'm thirteen and my allowance is limited so it's hard to afford gear. I hope I win, I would love to have that stuff!
