It's a 90+ minute game with just one 15-minute break and the field is huge (just the penalty field before a goal has comparable size to a basketball court) so there is a stupid amount of running. the reason why i like football is because of the reason 1 goal can already make the difference. if your team is up or down just by 1 goal especially early on, you will be on your seat the whole time wondering can they catch up or will the other team score. while in american football or more in the nba the game only gets exciting in the last few minutes since mostly its just a back and forth in points. i mean even if you lead with 12 points in the nba that is really nothing. but yea thats just me

It's complicated to be a goal keeper, and some times a goal cam be a goal keeper fault and sometimes u just got to acept he did his best, look to a keeper be in a 1 on 1 with a guy from the other time ur defense alredy failed at some point, and to help u understand why the keeper was so up in the field on that goal from half the field is to stop a kick counter imagine ur team is up in a conner our atack and the other time cuts u the ball and quicly pass the ball to ur last defenser back in hope they striker pass ur last defender that will be facing ur goal when u pass the ball while they striker is facing ur goal in hope of a quick counter when that happens he will have the advantage on the run and probably will get a 1 on 1 with ur keeper now why is the keeper so advanced because when they do that pass he can breach the ball before that striker most of the times stoping the counter if he is near the net he will never reach the ball quickly than the striker, also when ur time is in pocession of the ball up in field andnur defenser's have the ball and are passing through each other trying to find a nice pass into ofense the other time front fielder's are trying to take the ball from the high in the pitch to do what we call high pressure counter atack, and some times thiss pressure is so well done that ur defenser will require to pass the ball to the keeper in order to not lose the ball once again is good tha ur keeper is not on the net so the play can be done more smothly and safe.

The whole thing about "low score games" is that this IS the point! It's about the tension that SO much effort and talent, tactics, and energy goes into scoring even just once that when you do, it's a big deal.

American football doesn't have much scoring either since they give 6 points for touch down plus an extra point for kicking the ball over the bar .. so 21-14 game is pretty much 3-2..and 70% football match has that scoreline and American football last for 3 -4 hours

Sorry but it is called "football" for a reason! It is played with the feet unlike American football which is played with the hands and the feet are used very rarely. Your sport should be called Handball!!! Saying that, the word soccer originated in Oxford England in the 1880's in an attempt to distiguish the game from rugby which was called football... so it was the english fault anyway and north americans just played along taking the name football for their handball sport...
