Chyna uses the social credit score on a state registered app, and America instated the same system back before the Coof, and it runs in the background for the future takeover of all last freedoms. Chyna models the future of America. Does that bother you?

This was dissapointingly untechnichal, contrary to what the title and description would suggest.

An abundance of fluff and nonsense within the segments, comprised of "We don't know", "It's black magic" among others. Continuing on, the cited solutions while they may hold water were both impractical and technically lacking. It's also unclear which system is being defeated with these intended methods as most of what's said is in a vague and general sense. Lastly the applied tests were poorly executed for several reasons. Whilst giving the impression of blackboxing, the libraries aren't proprietary. The "defeating" of the system was also extremely crude. It goes without saying that if you make your face unrecognizable e.g. by covering it, facial recognition doesn't work, so what exactly was proven?

In regards to the morals of the applied technology, the piece (like many) always seem to have a bias. What China does with the technology is claimed to be immoral, yet when the same is applied in the west it is morally just. Whether this is said due to poor understanding or outright bias is not quite clear, though should be ommitted in my opinion as it is a subjective matter to an objective topic. One can point fingers endlessly, Apple uses proprietary facial recognition to unlock your phone, no doubt they have telemetry for that; is that good or bad? Ultimately nobody knows except the person with the hands on the steering wheel. Likewise FOSS projects have been retrained and incorporated within POC systems intended for military use.

For anyone invested in the technical aspects of this subject I recommend browsing through presentations made at Defcon. Albeit considered brief to the topic of AI they do a far better job delving into the inner workings.

A society on a leash like what they currently have in China is unacceptable. This is what voting LEFT gets you, while some disgusting individuals like Trudeau openly praise the Chinese Dictatorship, the rest who don't praise it in the open are still probably sympathizers.
They are not doing it for our security but for theirs, after Snowden and Assange they've become too paranoid because they are very corrupt. Just a matter of time before they will want you to use facial id to even use the internet.

A vendor of facial recognition technologies explained why the bridge of the nose is so important to facial recognition. The software detects the tear ducts, and the space between the 2 tear ducts on the left and right of the nose is relatively unique, and a great place to start calculating measurements between other facial areas.. the more you know.

No bloody privacy left for the innocent and honest people are treated by murderers and criminals. They use images and details supplied by Facebook who sells your privacy, details and personal photos to these parasite software companies who developed this evil technology. These companies that developed this horrible technology need to be shut down by all governments in every country of the world and this technology declared illegal and a total breach or privacy.
