Add these *FREE* Library Cards to your Libby App & Never Wait for a Book Again! (Libby Hack)

Note many places have this warning note when you sign up: "In addition to accessing our digital services, you may visit any PWPL branch to upgrade to a physical library card within 30 days before the digital library card expires (photo ID with proof of your current address is required)."

I used to think that libraries with MORE users will receive a BIGGER budget after their usernumbers increased. Hahahah apparently I was wrong. More users just make some libraries feel like they are losing somehow.

Only the first one worked.

broward county is the only one that still works. the other 2 dont even let you log in on libby. pretty disappointing.

Prince William digital card expires in 30days and then you must go in for a physical card. It says My digital card is not valid, so maybe they’ve caught on?

6 months later and I believe Prince William and Clark Counties have caught onto this. Prince William will only give a 30 day temporary card and Clark County will not let you access e-books at all. Broward County is still working great, however.

The only one that worked for me was prince William. Does it take a while for the email to come from the others?

When I filled the fiets question I didn’t get any mail of a online card or something so I did it twice and I didn’t get any mail what should I do now?

Won’t work for me on any of them says it can’t verify my address :/

Unfortunately none of these worked for me. They all said that they could not verify my information. I filled all three forms out just as they asked. I live In a small rural town that doesn’t have a library :(

Las Vegas account states "This Instant eCard does not provide access to eBooks, eAudiobooks, or OverDrive magazines."; which is a shame as their online selection is great. The other two worked fine.

Broward County Library did not approve a library card for me. Looks like they've changed their policy.

Didn’t work for me I guess they changed their requirements for broward I even used my in-laws Florida address and it refused me

Has anyone run into the issue where your library card expires after a few months? Do I just need to reapply to renew it?

Prince William now only allows 30 days for a digital card or you have to visit in person to renew. So its no longer a real option. ☹️

Thank you my guy. I usually dont comment but this had to be said. Thank you. The problem with my library is that its not listed on libby which is kinda sad and finally with your help I can read books which I wanted for a long time but couldnt get to.

Sunnyvale Public library
Sunshine coast libraries
San jose public library

Las Vegas doesn't give access to Libby. Thanks for the other ones. Also the Chicago public library is an online application and you can put any Chicago address. I really appreciate you taking the time to put this together with the links, thank you!

I've been trying almost 5 times to get a card and using a fake address but it still doesn't work. Can someone please tell me why? I've tried different addresses and still no use
