The haunted mansion queue area is really bad as it gets close to fantasmic. People searching for a spot end up at harbour galley and then loiter in the same place as guest waiting for their group to be called.

Going from the cheat code . Disney is based on ratios. Once purchasers realize ratios they’ll realize how to game the system. Gaming the system is what it’s all about, but 2 hours and over is ridiculous. It’s about gaming the system . Beyond that is ludicrous. Period. Amen. Get it done.

Basically you are looking at $800+ for one day for a family of 3 with food. Extra $$$ for genie pass and not including hotels costs.

The park thinks $160 - $190 a day per person is affordable? More like $260 a day because without buying an additional genie pass, you are going to be in loooong lines. I waited 2 hours for Rise of the resistance and they shut it down and told everyone to leave. Next day another 2 hour wait and everyone rushed it really badly when it finally opened. Think black Friday at electronic stores. Remember when fast passes were available to everyone, well the park now promotes classism, so whoever pays $70 extra for "fast/genie pass" can skip lines. Funny how they say park sales are down because people are penny pinching. No, people just don't like to get robbed.

We attending Disneyland the second week in sep and we just found out today that there will be no parades any day we are not happy

wait whoah how long is the train supposed to be down??

Is it just looking busy because of the effect of critter country being closed and less people in Tomorrowland?

Our family in 2004 did a Disneyland trip...5 day adult pass was $129 a child's pass was $99 for a five day pass. "Dad" spent loads of money on churros..souvenirs and anything else. Sure there was no Star Wars Land but the shear cost of a Disneyland trip is getting ridiculous. All the extra fees like "Lightning Lane" is a sad day for Disneyland....Disney seems to be spending money on "things" that are not needed and expecting "guests" to pick up the costs...Walt would be so sad!!

3 day tickets are also cheaper from now until September 26

So meaning as 1/4 of the park closes it feels like Disney again???

Dave it was worse crowds on Tuesday. Thank you, you're pointing out what I should look for in a line helped ALOT. I dont think I would have finished ALL RIDES at Disneyland on Tuesday without these videos.

Was there Aug 7. Insanely busy for a Wednesday. Guessing it’s due to D23 crowds. A lot fast passes to the major attractions were sold out around 5pm which was super disappointing

I was in attendance that day and happened to see you walk by us when we were trying to
cross into Tomorrowland by the Walt and Mickey statue during the parade.

It is crowded! I'm going Aug 22nd. Do you think the crowds will last until then?

Will Dave be live streaming the D23 parks panel? Disney has decided not to stream this year so there's no way to watch along.

I don't like seeing all these posts about how things are getting back to normal. I've had it in my head that we will be there at a very slow time of the year (5 weeks from tomorrow). I want short lines and fewer people while I am there 😂

Ready for all the construction to be done.. we’re going for 1 day this Sunday after d23 Saturday.. wonder if that all have any affect on the parks? Going again in December and hope most the construction is all done

Alice in Wonderland was always one of my top favorite rides over the years, but the queue was almost always daunting. Apparently my love of the ride was pretty widely shared.
Toon Town. Seeing it crowded and popular is still something I can't quite wrap my head around. The last time I went to Disneyland was before Downtown Disney was built. Back then, there was nothing to do in Toon Town except look at the cartoony construction and regret that the furniture was rock hard and unpleasant to sit on.

Monday Aug 4 was the first day Enchant Keys were unblocked.

I was there Tuesday and Wednesday and it was packed! It was hot! I even felt the earthquake as I waited for the fireworks on Tuesday night.

U say need to get people on Tom Sawyer island to have Disney give it love but then u don’t do a state of it and walk right by it and don’t mention it ???

The wait time was longer because we were running less cabs than usual!

I go to Disney in November. My question is how many of you you tube idiots will I have to deal with while I try to eat a $11 dollar churro? Adult nerds are the worst.

As a 54 year old SoCal girl (now residing in Seattle) i genuinely wish they would cease and desist with the reworking of The Haunted Mansion into Nightmare Before Christmas and let us October babies enjoy their birthdays 'old school'. I don't think anyone would be upset if the Mansion was reworked every OTHER year for Halloween.

Any idea what work is being done on the railroad? Will it truly be 3 months?

How many people and children came to see them stand amazing characters and I can not believe it myself but I believe. We could really be inseparable and would not start a war, but be together.

Just an honest question- Why do the long lines make you so happy? I'm always thrilled to find a day with shorter lines.

Sounds like hell. It would be cool if they limited the number of people that enter each day, so people can really enjoy the experience 👍

any tips on keeping cool at disneyland! planning a trip for the end of august :)

We waited 50 Min's for Jungle Cruise but that's because it had just reopened with the new themeing and storyline. That was our longest queue, everything else was 20 Min's and 30 Min's - back in July 2021.
