great video thanks for sharing
ОтветитьAndrew,
Thanks for the video. What knife is that? It looks comfortable for long term use?
Please never apologize for making a video like this. I've been doing wilderness trips in preparation for complete wilderness survival. This video is a great starter kit for me. Thanks for making it
ОтветитьAlways Super Informative & Interesting
ОтветитьThe Terava does not have a 90 deg spine, but seems to still be sharp enough to use with a ferro rod. Would you be confident taking this knife to a Pathfinder class?
ОтветитьHave you tried the silicone containers to carry and boil water in.
ОтветитьGreat video. Subscribed. 👍
ОтветитьGreat blades from Finland...Sir, the tiewraps on sheath sparked a light! Upside m'head😉...EZ attach points.👍
ОтветитьWas Great and an Honor to actually meet you in person at the Pathfinder Gathering 2023, Keep up with the great, wonderful information and instruction
ОтветитьNice meeting you at the event. Hope you hang in at pathfinders for awhile.
ОтветитьVery useful info, thank you
ОтветитьPlease tell me the name of the model of your knife in this video?
ОтветитьAgain thank you
ОтветитьI've noticed the Jääkäripuukko in a few of your videos, but I haven't seen you talk about what you think about it. How good do you think it is?
ОтветитьHello, clearly a good video. The 5 Cs of survival by DC👍. But I can't understand what people find in this knife. The handle is a disaster. In hot weather it causes blisters on the hands. In addition, the handle has come off the tang on my model. Also, I am old school on this. The handle should be screwed for different reasons. Only the blade is very good. But that is not enough.
ОтветитьLovin these video's.
ОтветитьCold Steel Recon Tanto best surv nife!
Greeting from Russia ))
Always great videos
ОтветитьQ: winter survival course USMC in the hand out on building first aid kit one last thing was YARROW powder in small container. What is Yarrow used for in the winter kit ?
ОтветитьWhat do you think of kevlar cord? Is it any good in the wild?
ОтветитьThanks for this short vidéo. Best regard from France 🤗
ОтветитьKelly from Corporals Corner recommend your channel. Love your videos, short and to the point!
ОтветитьWhat knife is that?
ОтветитьI appreciate the videos! Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
ОтветитьI love my Varustelekka knife, too. Great vid, as always.
ОтветитьDon’t forget poncho maintenance. You don’t want it smelling like ass like wet weather gear only can. Great video, if you have those items your probability of survival greatly improves.
ОтветитьGood idea Dan
ОтветитьGreat refresher video. Thanks
ОтветитьGreat info. Enjoy you videos
ОтветитьU deleted my my comments 😂😂😂😂😂😂 , typical snowflake ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
ОтветитьI was just looking at that Skrama blade. Now I gotta get it.
ОтветитьJust watched Corp kelly and his mid week vid and saw he mentioned you for the toggles on wire and gun powder ignition fire that was awesome brother!
ОтветитьCongrats bro
ОтветитьThe ponchos and other light tackle is ok in mild areas but just this weekend we were up on the mountains last week and it was literally freezing and frosting. Last night it snowed up high. When I'm in the mountains I want a real sleeping bag because it can get into the 20's F* even in summer
ОтветитьWhat knife is it
ОтветитьOld school..
ОтветитьThis is a great video I would love to do a live with you.
ОтветитьThanks for making great and thought provoking content! I appreciate all of your videos!
ОтветитьHey I don't know if you have one but is there anyway you can do like a long-term survival kit The only reason I'm asking is because I've got a feeling a short-term or a bug out or get home bag is not going to be enough for with what's going on in the world today I'm afraid that one of these days I'm going to have to survive long-term with my family out in the sticks for who knows how long and I just want to make sure that I have everything remembered I need
ОтветитьWhat knife is that?
ОтветитьThis makes the Senior NCO in me happy!
ОтветитьI wish I could download all the wonderful information from your brain to mine! Elon Musk is working on that chip right now as you speak, incredible absolutely incredible time to be alive!
ОтветитьAlways quality content. I hope to come see all you guys for a course or two some day. :)
ОтветитьOnce again, right out of the park. Thank you !!!
ОтветитьAny videos on Swamp survival? Living here close to Alligator Alley
ОтветитьFor the people wondering about the knife: it is a Terävä Jääkäripuukko 110 from Varusteleka.
I forgot to tell: notice the grind goes much higher than the garberg, that is because it is a 23° and garberg uses 27°.
About the handle: this is rubber and garberg plastic.
The basics never get old because survival could depend on it.
God bless
Always enjoy these videos, a wealth of knowledge with these and other Pathfinders like Dave and Kelly that I also follow. Thank you for service, Andrew.
ОтветитьI'm switching to a MSR 1.1L pot for my Car kit. I'll keep an MSR pocket rocket and an isobutane canister in it. My Car kit is crappy right now. Thanks for the video.
