We need to leave religion out of it completely. If your god didn't want us making these advances, then he'd stop us himself if he's as powerful as you say.
ОтветитьHugging ethics on the issue of embryonic stem cells isn't the way forward
When the benefits of it would completely outweigh any ethical issues
So it didn’t work I got some sensation bk after I was paralyzed god bless him hope all his dreams come true
ОтветитьIdc ab walking I just want certain feelings back how can I get this
ОтветитьFalse hope that's all the ever report.
ОтветитьI hope he became the wind again . What a beautiful boy.
ОтветитьStem cells are extracted from aborted human fetuses. For those that wondering why some people oppose
ОтветитьIm certain humans have eaten stem cells since we ate placenta or umbilical cords of either other animals or our own...
ОтветитьI had to answer this for school lol
ОтветитьA stem cell transplant gives you new stem cells. Do you need stem cells?
ОтветитьNot all stem cell treatment is embryonic. I've had stem cell treatment with autologous cells. Autologous cells come from your own body, so there is no conflict. Go for it if it will help you - and it will help you!
ОтветитьI don't approve of abortion, but I think stem cell research is amazing. How wasteful is it, with all the lives of infants being snuffed out, making some USE of their death is what idiots are fighting against. It's bad to have killed them...but also bad to make them die in vain. Stem cell research gives their death SOME kind of meaning, and I think that's wonderful.
ОтветитьDoes anyone know if they ever did a follow-up story on this?
Ответитьi have the exact same injury as this guy and im looking for a doctor who can perform this kind of surgery i can gladly be a lab-rat if there is any possibility to get my leggs back! anyone who knows a doctor that im looking for?
ОтветитьWe will live forever in the future with stem cells. Stem cells will be the cure to everything from now till then.
ОтветитьNot sure if this was the first in the US but it wasn't the first use of embryonic stem cells to teat spinal cord injuries. Since the early 90's we began treating animals to promote axon growth directly or blocked the growth-suppressing molecules. Not only were these strategies successful for rebuilding individual injured neurons, but they also led to a partial recovery of overall spinal cord function. The first case for humans took place in 2002 and many clinical trials and applications since then with and without the use of embryonic cell lines.
ОтветитьI pray that this guy walks, runs and jumps again. This is an amazing technology anybody that disagrees with giving hope to people like this through stem cells is just plain heartless.
ОтветитьFuck religion get your treatment. I hope this kid get better.
ОтветитьI do think it needs about other 50 years to get some successfull outcomes
ОтветитьWas this really the first? My understanding was that the treatment for spinal cord injury first occurred over 10 years ago.
Ответитьwhy is that so amazing
ОтветитьThats sad that C. Reeves never got to have the treatment.
Ответитьany body has the phone number to contact where he did his stem cell therapy??? any help will be fantastic, thank you
ОтветитьHaving a child born without able to be cared for and have no future is more cruel, you people are disgusting. If you can't take care of a child then abort it and have it put to good use for stem cells that can save lives. Having a child being homeless or waiting to be adopted till 16 or 18 then put on the streets is nothing but criminal and that parent should be sentenced to most painful death to know what it's like to torture a life like that.
ОтветитьI hope they find a cure I would hate to be paralyzed it be the worst thing ever and especially neck down I could not stand that I hope they find a cure.
ОтветитьHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! SHIT! My ass just fell off!
Ответитьits about time
Ответитьand for me
Ответитьthis gives me hope for my father to walk again.
Ответитьit can be taken from my own stem cells now its not only embryotic. i know everyone has there side to this but until youve gone thru what im going thru you wont understand.
Ответитьi was paralyzed in a motorcycle accident july 09 and i can never get this chance. a life of hell is all i will have because i cannot afford this procedure.
ОтветитьI hope he dont walk out of that wheel chair to throw his whole life down the drain to become a criminal.
Ответить@gorillaz23456 I am not saying that it is not worth it. I am just saying that it is not right to kill a child, perfectly healthy just for one's benefit. And, if someone said, in theory, " I need to kill your baby to help another older person." You would say, "No!" So why should we kill creatures of God who can not even speak yet. I am just saying there are alternatives which still have to be found.
Ответить@gift3dluk31 i believe its worth it
ОтветитьI am not saying what the mother said is not right. However, the morals on which stem cell research is based on is completely 2 sided. On one side, you have people who have good morals and know that making a baby(embryo) which is still a real person just to use for one's own benefit is completely wrong. However, on the other side, we have the users who think they are more important than a baby which is what they are saying as soon as those stem cells get injected into them. S.C.R. is an opinion.
ОтветитьFUCK RELIGION!!!
Ответитьwhat the mom said is completely true
Ответитьhave someone informations abaut T.J. progresses
Ответить
