I saw this maybe 2000 on TV. At the end you could order a VHS copy. I was enthralled with this episode and ordered it instantly. I keep the copy still as some kind of souvenir like someone who bought a jersey at a sports stadium.

They missed a few things Nothing about HL Patton he was in the biz at the same time Kinly was Patton got hurt badly when a Chain sailed thru the air taking off his arm !! he then quit The Time Myron had that premature can go off was because a welder lit a torch too close the welder was killed in the blast When Boots and coots left red it devastated him . I worked the Kuwait mess for 3 months was a heck of a experience .

I've been fascinated with this subject ever since I saw "Hellfighters" when I was 6 years old.

I worked for Boots & Coots/International Well Control back in the late 90's. By far one of the most dangerous jobs but more rewarding I've ever done. Now I'm just a small town local Assistant Fire Chief. Man what I would do to be young again. Great memories working with the best of the best folks.

Never dealt with any oil well fires. I was mainly just a regular firefighter, who put out the occasional house fire or car fire. But it's all the same, take away one part of the triangle, the fire is going out. I salute my brothers who do this job. They are awesome.
