Why Blener and not Zbrush? for a character

We need a goddamn FUCKING 3D Slicer view + free roam view(unity has this already where you hold a mouse button and then use wasd and up and down arrows to move up and down plus even perhaps rotating your fov camera) options already(that lets you edit verts)! I'm sick of only being able to rotate around and view the model from the outside in blender and other 3D modeling programs!

Needed to hear this as well. Kept putting off practicing, feeling discouraged and telling myself "I guess I'll just try tomorrow night instead"

blender kinda sucks when you need a 8 hour tutorial to make a cirvle

All I can tell you is that cube is always in my way when I open Blender, but jokes aside, Blender is pretty intimidating at first. You feel like you have no idea what you're doing and most of my experience with Blender boils down to "I can delete a cube."

Once I can spend hours in the program without being frustrated, I'll know the frustration of learning was worth it. Learning what I want to from the program is likely to take months to years of hard work, but all I know is I can do it.

Can anybody please tell me how to connect separate objects like sculpted nose seprately from head, how to connect with head mesh and smooth the connwction area?
