Could also weave indoor or outdoor rugs, door mats, many, many things. But, the flat items would require the least effort and reuse the most at one time.

I'm concerned that some plastics do break down into micro plastic faster these days, are all the plastics checked to see if they are this kind before using? Also, what is the carbon footprint of making and running all that machinery? This is good to see but we really need to STOP using plastic.

This something they're willing to train others to do, or are they patenting the process? I saw a guy who figured out how to recycle plastic into asphalt but he was gatekeeping the process to keep it a private business

Yeah what do I do with this old chip bag says it's committed to organic agriculture and promises its product meets organic farming standards but what about the environment and how come they can't fill the whole bag up kind of even more waste if it isn't and it's thick plastic too and what I gotta feel bad for wanting to eat some food because I'm polluting the world with my trash if I do even apple's come in a bag instead of a basket now and why I even gotta buy from some other guy just to stay alive I hate having to be a prostitute just to survive

Kudos. All very well, but unless further manufacturing doesn't stop, the problem will only escalate. These rugs, bags, other repurposed products, will again one day be trashed as nothing lasts for ever or things do go out of fashion. What after the second life? We must think beyond the second life! There is no choice but to stop manufacturing! By repurposing governments are getting out of their responsibility to stop manufacturing. It's all a money nexus

The plastic bags aren't UV stabilized so it will fall apart into micro-plastics and get into the food chain. Best thing to do is not use it at all, but if you have to use, burn it so it breaks down into its component atoms. Don't burn it yourself, but at industrial facilities that can create the super high temperature necessary to do it cleanly as possible. Or remelt it with UV stabilizers and make big products so they are going to last for thousands of years.
