do you need to solder?
ОтветитьThank you sir for this detailed repair guidance.
Sad, to bring blue color down, there is no knob, rather have to go thru many hours of intense labor ( it means we must have all tools).
Mate that was beautifully demonstrated. Felt like a movie. Anyway I'm gonna save this video until a few months down the line when my LG55UJ630V gets worse until it's unwatchable with the blue tint. Then I'm gonna use this video to repair it. Subscribed!
ОтветитьThis was a fantastic video. I also recognize I do not have the skills to do this. I will be 2 hours into it when I break a plastic clip or wrinkle a layer of film or something like that. I cannot pull this off.
ОтветитьWhat the damn noisy music for man ???!!! Couldn't concentrate on understanding nothing !!! You badly spoilt it with that maddening music bud !!!
ОтветитьIts funny that the same problem happened to me with the same tv brand (lg)
ОтветитьI AM GETTING A NEW TV. AND TRY THIS ON THE OLD ONE.
VERY COOL VIDEO.
WHERE CAN I GET THE LEADS?? AMAZON?
Thank you for the video. I've started getting into electronics repair recently because 1) hate to add to our landfills. 2) It now costs money to get rid of a flat screen tv where I live - $20. So often a single very cheap part can stop your electronic device from functioning. And it seems all you need to learn is how to solder for the most part. I have a decent understanding of amplifiers/receivers but know little about flat screen tv's. So thanks again, and I definitely subscribed!
ОтветитьNot to mention the sense of accomplishment one can get when actually being able to fix a broken device and get it working again. My furnace went out last winter, and luckily I had just enough "know-how" to get it up and running on my own. Alot of people would have needed to hire a HVAC person to come fix their furnace. It felt good pretty inside, and in my wallet. lol. :) nothing against HVAC people or businesses either, we all gotta make a living.
ОтветитьWell I just tried it and my tv doesn’t work anymore 😭
ОтветитьJust tossed this same tv in the trash
ОтветитьWow! So easy! 😂
ОтветитьThank you for the video
ОтветитьDid you replace all of the led strips?
ОтветитьI have a 65inch vizion and I’m gonna try to get it repaired will it cost around $60 on average for a repair? I don’t wanna get scammed
ОтветитьThanks for the Video. I repaired mine today. Less than £20 for the parts. It took me 2 hours.
LG TV now works like brand new again 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I have a 50 inch Samsung with a patch of blue on the right hand side of the screen. It gradually came on during this year's summer heat wave. The blue patch is right in front of the TV's power supply board, which brings me to conclude the cause of the problem is the heat from the PSU, it caused the close by LEDs to overheat and burn off the phosphor coating.
The TV is covered by a service plan, and will be fixed or replaced, but why would an expensive TV, supposedly one of the world's leading brands, be left open to this problem in the first place? The PSU should have been heat insulated and maybe even fan cooled (silently).
Thanks so much for this video, you did a great job. I'm into electronics, but not nearly as brave as you! Well done.
where do you get the led strips from?
ОтветитьSpent 9min to find out you had replacement strips 🙄 time I will never get back
ОтветитьNice job , very good try
ОтветитьWell made video, definitely convinced me to fit myself until you got to the retention clips....
ОтветитьGreat job
ОтветитьThis is too much. I thought you were just gonna go into some settings I didn’t know about. She ain’t bout to walk in and catch me on the floor with the damn tv in pieces..
ОтветитьOh boy, thats a mission!
ОтветитьI understand why it’s a throw away society because fuck doing all that lol I don’t watch tv that much to care about fixing my purple screen haha
ОтветитьJust replaced my 55uj6300 backlights. Took 2 hrs. Ended up not needing superglue since the newer version came with doublesided tapes. Another thing, you need not pry all the 'buttons' aka leds from the old backlight strips since you can actually remove the reflective sheet itself. For the connectors to the strips, just use a flathead screwdriver to lift them up from the bottom. I would 100% recommend the suction cups though.
ОтветитьA good way to mess ur screen up in the process...don't do it!!
ОтветитьGood technical guidance. For clarity, did you only need to solder the reflective panel because of the improper, 'horizontal' removal which broke the prongs of the power to the lights?
ОтветитьGreat, thanks to your help I was able to fix my Grundig TV which had the same error! Thank you very much for this tutorial!
ОтветитьIve ordered parts for s 43' vestel (toshiba) lcd tv , im a ex brown goods tv engineer, so going to have a go. But parts from uk that i could find ended up paying £60.00 but still cheaper than a tv. I'll let you know how i get on next week😅
ОтветитьGreat Video. Thank you so much. I followed exactly what you said and took apart my sony 55 inch tv with no prior experience to change the LEDs in the back. The blue screen is completely gone and it seems like a brand new TV. Only costed me 45 dollars for the LEDs. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьAnyone know if the led strips ship to Canada from another site?😊
ОтветитьI like the production effort here, also that you prefer to repair things due to today's throw away culture. I also like to repair but it's because I'm a tramp.
ОтветитьApply one Rosmann of flux to it.
ОтветитьI like the blue tiny, it gives it an almost futuristic feeling along with the music. I love Blade Runner so this music reminds me of it.
Ответитьfok dat
ОтветитьI fixed my 65 in a couple of yrs ago. Someone is giving a 60 inch away. I was hoping I wouldn't have to do all of that again for a blue screen but oh well. Mine had no picture at all. Let the fun begin... 👍🏼
ОтветитьI knew you missed that hidden screw! Same thing happened to me. Lol
ОтветитьMight as well build a new one
ОтветитьBeautifully done man
ОтветитьThanks for the video … you have confirmed my suspicions that my TV is unfixable and I need to buy a new one! (I admire your patience sir, but this fix is not for me!) . Cheers 👍🏽
ОтветитьOmg it's tedious! I thought I could simply do it but no.
ОтветитьAm not doing all that
ОтветитьIf your throwing it away why not
ОтветитьDid all that and still blue? Is it video board?
Ответитьit is easier to buy a new TV than to go through all this, sry but no thx
ОтветитьDoes anyone know why this happens? The cause of it?
Ответитьi have an 55 inch samsung withe the exact problem. hope the led strips are the same size
ОтветитьAmazing dude!
