Yeah, it's called circular reasoning. When you've already decided what books are canonical you must find some reason that these simple "litmus tests" don't count.

I am a Protestant that has completed dozens of hours of research in to the development of the biblical canon and I have learned if we exclude all of the Apocrypha then we are shooting ourselves in the foot especially with Esther and Revelation. I am most comfortable with Wisdom, Sirach and Baruch considering how often they are in early listed biblical canons
