MacBook Pro 16" (2019) - FULL REVIEW!

n earnest, we returned the MacBook Pro (2019) Intel processor, due to the device over-heating and the Fan noise, It was Not the Best experience....

If you ever want to help out with possibly selling out your macbook pro. Plz help a brother out for a good price. Really love these laptop

What would you say today? I can’t afford a new 16in 2022 MacBook Pro. But I can get a 2019 MacBook Pro 2019 on back market for $1,000. Would you recommend that? Is the 2019 a great computer? I currently have a 2012 mid MacBook Pro 15in. But it’s being phased out and now Ventura won’t be available on unsupported macs that are from 2012.

I got lucky. I needed something more powerful than the garbage Windows OC I have for recording music, and doing some video editing. I got the 15, 15 inch MacBook Pro Retina upgraded. 1TB SSD, 16GB, and all those ports allow me to use udb c interface, or a firewire Studiolive mixer. So much better than Windows I had. Right now everyone is goo goo about the M1. Lets see if any issues arise?

How in the world did you learn all this stuff?

Im confused. What is the difference of buying a MBP 16inch with 5500M GPU than buying a 2019 16inch MBP 5500M GPU in Amazon? Is there really a difference coz what i know is only the 5600M upgrade. No more no less.

Will you do a comparison between the MBP16" and the MBP 13" 10 Gen 2020? Or have you already? Stuck on deciding whether to get the 13" or the 16" or wait for the updated 16” display apparently not coming out until 4th quarter 2020. I really need one now but I'm not sure if the 16” might be too much. I need something for photo editing mostly.

Hello there ZoneOfTech family! Even though I am new to the Apple world, I am already enjoying it with my Iphone 11 (my first Apple product). I am new to Apple and I just decided to move from Windows pc and I just bought a 2019 16’ Macbook pro. I am excited but also worry coming from windows all my life. My question is if I need an antivirus for my new MacBook Pro. Are there a real reliable antivirus for a MacBook Pro? Are they lightweight at all? I have always heard Macs never need an antivirus software, it will never happens, bla bla and more bla. I think that is not that true now. And that is why I am clueless and a little worry since I just bought my first Mac computer and it is going to arrive between 15 or 17 days from today. Please, can you give me a sincere advice about antivirus topic?

Have you tried to plug in an external monitor??? The fans and noise will blow your hair back! As a 16" MBP owner and audio engineer, it's a huge disappointment and costly mistake ($3500). Oh, you can run Turbo Boost Switcher and TG Pro to "fix" it as long as you're 'ok' with a 30% drop in cpu performance. Yeah, I'm not a happy camper. I doubt I'll ever buy another Macbook Pro. Little to nothing "Pro" about them. Other than the fan noise with external monitors, it's great. For me, it's a deal breaker.

you have so many complaints , how about you switch to windows laptop for good & give your final review.

It would be a NAY for me. I actually reverted to a 2012 i7 15” with upgraded memory and SSD (sold my 2018 13”) to get back to a nicer keyboard old style and will wait the next generation and see how we go from here :)

Last night I spilt cola on my 15'pro (2015). So I went on to yt and found many videos on what to do and most of them said it's unlikely that it would be recovered. They were right. I got it checked today by 2 apple authorised service centres and they told me it was dead. Either I spend almost 50% of the cost for a new 16 inch just to get this back (with its older config) on or I had to choose another one... With that, I feel this was a really good option in terms of spec upgrades for sure... Although I visit this channel quite often for reviews but somehow didn't check any for the 16 inch before buying it.... Now that I am, I am glad I not regretting this buy.... Thanks for the great work you do and keep it coming...

Apple doesn’t use 4K panels for battery saving reasons. And I as well as many others would argue that this display is more than sharp enough and you would gain marginal if any benefit from a 4K panel in a screen this size.

apple has been screwing the pro line so much that just simple common sense changes are just enough to make some people happy...I am not going to buy another pro until they reverse the trend of adding undesired features and taking away useful stuff. throwing away the butterfly keyboard is a start, let me know when the ports are back to more useful one and the touch bar is either revamped or replaced

The fan noise doesn’t matter when you tech is properly cooled. Obvi for a laptop 💻.
